Quiet, chic and private pool home nestled in the quintessentially "old Florida" neighborhood of South Gate. Located between an approx 15 mins drive to either famed Siesta Key Beach or vibrant downtown Sarasota, this ranch home offers 2bed + flex 3rd bed area + 1.5ba and 1,330sf. Privacy abounds w/fully fenced backyard, southern exposure pool, gas grill, outdoor dining, shower & pool bath. Professionally decorated. 70in & 55in tvs! Lit fans, dining for 6, washer/dryer, beach chairs. Pet friendly!

The space
Professionally decorated and thoughtfully designed, I hope Leafy Lane becomes a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Walk to a few small local restaurants, spas, and even a convenient drive-through liquor store. Just a short drive to Siesta Key Beach and vibrant Downtown Sarasota, yet tucked into a peaceful, fully private home (not shared with anyone!). Spend your days exploring the beaches, shops, and dining, then return home perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach in your own tranquil retreat.

Guest access
On-site private and full sized washer and dryer. Although located inside of the garage, don’t worry, as there is a remote controlled AC unit right next to the machines and it cools very quickly. Dryer rack. Chair for folding. On premises you’ll also find the compact ironing board, iron and steamer.

Other things to note
The “screened in lanai” noted on the floorplan is actually the flex 3rd sleeping space as it is fully enclosed and under air as part of the home versus a “Florida room” so to speak.

MAX 2 dogs allowed up to 20lbs {no cats or other animals allowed} per stay. UNLESS previously approved through messaging me directly. All pets need to be approved by the owner as well. Thank you.

Very fast Wi-Fi! Complete with wireless Wi-Fi printer in case you need.

The neighbors are great people, most of whom live there full time.

You’ll probably fall in love with the backyard, as I did! I wanted something spacious, relaxing and easy to maintain for my guests. Cornhole and pool floaties. Even drink floats for something refreshing while you float around.

Neighborhood highlights

Southgate is a mid Century, established Sarasota, FL community that’s about 8-10 mins SE of downtown Sarasota and approximately 10 minutes to the nearest area beaches like Siesta Key Beach and Lido Key Beach.

Not that you’ll need it (since you have a completely PRIVATE POOL), but there's also a community pool and ability to sign up for volunteering and zumba classes and the like at a nearby clubhouse.

There is some walkability to low-key restaurants {nothing fancy!} and other amenities, but most everything will be a drive distance away from the home.
