What a relaxing and wonderful accommodation! We couldn't help but remark how the garden suite was a much more conducive to a relaxed weekend getaway than a hotel room. The suite itself is spacious, well appointed and cozy. All of the restaurants, nightlife, shops and the city beach are all within walking distance. It is a wonderful place to stay in a great little town.
Katherine's "Garden Suite" was perfect. Even though it was 36C when we arrived, the suite was cool and comfortable. Just a short walk to a beautiful park - Gyro Park, that provides a Nelson visitor with a great view of this lovely town. Minutes away from a fabulous selection of great restaurants. Katherine greeted us with a nice introduction to the suite and Nelson. She is a real sweetie. The suite was clean, stocked with everything required, comfortable bed. I don't know what else you could ask for! If you need a place to stay in Nelson for a short visit or a longer visit, check out Katherine's place. You couldn't do better.
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Cedar Street Garden Suite. It was like having our own apartment just blocks from downtown Nelson. Katherine was welcoming, gracious and made certain every attention to detail was thought of in the newly remodeled suite. A fully appointed kitchen, large 2-person shower, cozy goose down comforters, and fresh fruits & tea awaited our arrival. Each morning we felt privileged to awaken to the most amazing view of the mountains beyond!
