  • The apartment is cute, but small. It has a nice little kitchen if you want to buy groceries in order to save money. It is easy to take the bus to Old San Juan, and you only need to walk a couple of blocks for a busy little strip with eateries and a larger grocery store.

  • Everything was clean and was exactly how it looked in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, the neighborhood was safe, the beaches were close ... everything was good. My husband and I recommend Machiatto Coffee Shop for casual dining, and Casita Miramar for a nice dinner experience

  • Raymond was a perfect host, and the apartment was perfectly as described. We took a few of Raymond's recommendations for restaurants, and fell in love with Miramar, which is within short walking distance.

We intend to come back to PR next year, and when we do, it will be here!!

  • I needed and wanted to celebrate my Birthday alone and in peace... I did just that staying in THE APT in Mirimar! I was close to EVERYTHING!!! Quiet neighborhood, an amazing cafe on the corner that serves scrumptious breakfast and sandwiches all day long; remarkable coffee house the bus to San Juan is frequent and coat only .50 -.75 cents per trip. And less than 10 mins to get there. The apt is very comfortable and homelike. Extremely clean... From top to bottom! Raymond the host was dynamic and available to my inquiries; he offers great suggestion of eateries and culture and is a gentleman all the way. I shall return to Puerto Rico and I will only stay in the APT if available. I didn't feel like a tourist; I felt like a local... And that added to my trip!!! Condado, Old San Juan, isla verde, all very nearby. I didn't even bother renting a car!!! Make the choice! It's a great one

  • Raymond was a great host. He met us at the apartment to give us the key during his lunch break. He helped us with general directions and recommended a couple restaurants nearby. Casita Miramar, one of his recommendations, was great and a good value. A local told us about Cafe Miramar nearby. It was a good weekday lunch option and cheap! Raymond was always available by phone and checked-in with us a couple times during our stay. He offered to give us a tour but our schedule didn't accommodate it. The apartment has a Frommer's Guidebook which was also helpful.

  • We had a great stay in San Juan and Raymond's apartment. Everything was as advertised. Location is great, giving a more local feel but close enough to walk to great dining, grocery store and even Old San Juan.

Raymond was an excellent host, waited for us in the early hours of the morning and even gave us a quick tour of the surroundings. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. Be sure to eat at Casita Miramar, fantastic atmosphere and local food.

One thing that we figured out to late were the free Trolley's/buses in Old San Juan. This hop on/hop off system is great and makes walking to Old San Juan more possible.

One problem though was taking a taxi from the airport to the apartment as the taxi driver did not know where the street was.

If we ever come back to San Juan we will surely stay in Raymond's apartment again.

  • Awesome apartment and location. You really feel part of the life of the neighborhood and walking to the movies and restaurant is quite nice! The reserved parking spot is a big plus as you don't have to look for a spot and you know nothing will happen to your car. Thanks, Raymond!

  • Raymond was a perfect host. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to give tips and advice when needed. His studio was perfect for my purposes, as it had a close location to everything and also a parking spot for my SUV rental.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

  • This is a great little studio apartment, with a comfortable bed, a big flat-screen TV (though we couldn't get the cable to work while we were there), a small but efficient kitchen, and nice bathroom.

Location-wise, you are about a 5 minute walk from some restaurants and stores, and about a 15-min walk to the closest beaches in Condado.

Raymond was very helpful when we first arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay!

Overall I think the location could be slightly better, but the apartment itself is a wonderful spot, especially for the value!

  • My friend and I stayed here in order to attend a friend's wedding in Puerto Rico. Although some minor issues popped up (i.e. having to retrieve the key from another city, fixing a slight water leak in the kitchen), Raymond kept us up to date via texting and messaging (on Air BNB) and worked with us, especially in regards to our late check-in and very early check-out times.

The location is good, and the space for parking your car is an extra perk. A supermarket, froyo shop, and restaurants are all within 5-7 minutes walk. The kitchen is stocked w/ pots/pan, coffee maker, utensils, and sugar/salt/pepper/honey/coffee.

I would definitely recommend Raymond's place to others and will stay again if I'm back in San Juan.
