We spent 4 really nice days in Pauls apartment and enjoyed Berlin a lot!!
The apartment was big, fresh and clean and we loved the vintage style furniture. The sunny balcony was a great place voor a 'lecker' breakfast, bought in the Bio Company (supermarket) around the corner.
Charlottenburg is al really beautiful part of Berlin and the apartment is close to the metro. We walked a lot and also rented a bike (at Hotel Q, really close by) which was great.
We didn't meet Paul, but his wife Vanessa, who was really nice and helpfull. During our reservation on AIRBNB and trip to Berlin, Paul responded really quick!
We would recommend this apartment to everyone who also loves Pauls stylish taste in vintage!
Paul waited for us even though our flight was delayed. He gave us all the info we needed and left us to our own devices. The apartment was as described. The apartment is centrally located but not too noisy. The furnishings are a little outdated but the shower and bathroom were of good quality. The flat has most of the amenities you would need although some are slightly tired. There were some of the previous owner's belongings still in the flat. You can hear the train from the bedroom. There is a good coffee machine.
Very comfortable apartment in a good location, close to both U- and S-Bahn, nice Bio Company supermarket just up the street, and lots of eating options on nearby Kantstrasse. Highly recommended!
Paul was a very welcoming host. The apartment - the bedroom is really spacious! - is perfectly equipped, including a Nespresso machine, and is located just offside lively Savignyplatz in a quiet neighborhood. Walk around a bit and you will rapidly discover some nice restaurants and coffee shops that are off the beaten track. There are both an U-Bahn and an S-bahn station just around the corner that easily connect you to the rest of Berlin. In a word, a perfect place to stay - and the terrace is a plus when the weather is nice and/or you what to smoke your occasional sigaret.
This has been one of my favorite places using Airbnb. The flat is light, clean and airy, the decor is just so cool, the area is superb with shops and cafés and restaurants - with great public transport links. It's also very quiet. There is the nicest bio supermarket just round the corner. The flat is equipped with a proper coffee machine (important!) and has a fully equipped kitchen. Paul was a great host, patient with my communication being limited by no mobile phone, and he was very flexible with the check out. He was very friendly, has lots of info on Berlin - my stay was excellent.
It was very nice to live in this apartment for a couple of days. Paul was very welcoming, the place is spacious, clean and has got everything one needs and the neighbourhood was great!
