Cozy and centrally located 1-bedroom flat in Berlin' s east side hip & artistic neighbourhood of Friedrichshain - in Samariterstrasse!
The flat is on the first floor in a calm inner yard of an old building in Friedrichshain. One of those typical flats with high ceilings and beautiful wooden floor!
There´s one large bedroom with a king size bed and a hammock, a spacious bathroom (bathtub/shower) as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a comfy blue sofa. You' ll find all you need for cooking: pots, dishes, cooking utensils, stove, fridge, toaster and a water cooker.
WIFI is available + optionally 2 LAN cables to connect your computer either from the kitchen or bedroom.
You can also connect your iPod to speakers in the bedroom.
Clean linen and towels will be provided, of course.
The location is just perfect: you' ll be 4 minutes from the U5 metro station Samariterstrasse and just a few steps from grocery stores as well as supermarkets. There is a late night store downstairs, so if you have a strong craving for chocolate or a cold beer in the middle of the night (even on a Sunday), you know where to go.
The popular going out areas of Boxhagenerplatz, Simon Dach Straße (with lots of bars & restaurants) and Warschauerstraße club district are within a walking distance of 10 - 15 minutes.
Every Sunday you have a flea market on Boxhagenerplatz, and on Saturdays the same square has a farmers´ market. Just about the best place to chill out, grab a coffee or late weekend brunch and watch the time go by.
All other worth to see parts of town are 15 minutes away, be it Mitte, Kreuzberg or Neukölln.
It will take you about 15 minutes to get to Alexanderplatz, or some maximum 25 minutes to Hauptbahnhof, the central train station.
You can park your car in front of the house on Samariterstraße. Parking space is first come first serve basis. However, please take into account that you need the ecological stamp for Berlin inner circle to park here. You could get a fine if you don´t have one.
Depending on the time of the year there is a bike available for your use.
I have city maps and all kinds of flyers informing about cultural events currently going on: from exhibitions, museums, concerts, parties, open-air events, etc. Just let me know you are interested in doing. I´ll be happy to give you insider tips on my favourites in the hood as well.

Martina's apartment is very nice, quite spacious and has a well equipped kitchen. It's located near Samariterstrasse underground station.
Martina was able to arrange our stay in her apartment even though she was abroad and she got my message a day or two before our trip to Berlin.
Everything worked out fine and Martina is a great host! Can only recommend!
Very nice flat, perfectly located!
