About This Listing
This is the room with the largest bathroom in the house. The bathroom has a marble bath tub/shower and a bidet.Fresh towel are supplied daily. Toiletries are also supplied. (Soap, bath foam, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion), Hair drier available on request.
The room has a nice carved and inlaid four poster bed in cedarwood, plus a satellite flat screen tv on the wall. Is is on the first floor and in the quietest corner of the riad. It is decorated in a traditional style but with a hint of contemporary. It has air-condition and heating. The bed has a firm mattress of a very good quality, which will be a great asset as you will need some rest after wondering in the street of Marrakech during the day!
Ory is very nice and very helpful. She helped us to amend the booking several times. She also helped with the airport transfer. The apartment is clean and comfortable, located in a residential market, where you can buy fruit and food with a normal price (not for tourist). The location is convenient in old city. With 20 minutes walking you can cover all sightseeing easily, except the garden. However, nobody in the apartment is English speaking. This is not convenient. Ory said she is abroad thus this happened. There is no price listed anywhere in the apartment and I was invoiced 30 DH for less than 2 minutes telephone. Since nobody explained to me in advance I was surprised and asked Ory. She wiped off the 30 DH afterwards as a compensation of no-English-Speaking. Thanks.
My boyfriend and I were here for two nights at the end of Feb. Great location and the hospitality was great. Tea on arrival with sweets was a nice touch after a long journey. We also thought the bedroom was really comfy and bathroom was gorgeous. Jamila was extremely helpful despite the language difference (her
English was much better than my limited French). I'd recommend this Riad for your city break.
Thanks for spending some time to write about your experience at the riad. I am very happy you liked staying in the room Touriya , which is the room I normally use when I am at the riad.
I am also very pleased that in spite the language issue you and Jamila managed to communicate and she was as always very helpful. I will report back to her your kindly praise.

About the Host, Ory
