We stayed three nights in Jerusalem -- two att Yifat's and one at Ecce Homo convent. Yifat's place was great, perfect for a couple.
She was extremely Kind and gave us fabulous addresses in town. She's the best airbnb host I've had so far.
This was a great apartment, clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. Yifat responded quickly when I had a question. I would stay here again.
We stayed at Yifat's lovely apartment for 2 nights in December - right after the crazy storm! The place was impeccably clean, well-designed (great rainfall shower, modern finishes), and as warm as it gets in Israel in the winter. There was a wall mounted heater in the main room, a space heater in the bedroom, and a heater in the bathroom, as well as lots of extra blankets. It was comfortable, but not warm to North American standards - however, this is typical of everywhere we went in Israel - houses just aren't built for cold weather. Bring warm socks/slippers to keep your feet warm on the tile floor.
In terms of location, Rehavia is a really lovely residential neighborhood and I can see this place being great for a longer-term stay. My husband and I only had 2 days and were planning to walk everywhere, so in hind sight, should have stayed closer to the old city or center of town - it was a bit of a trek to get anywhere and we did take taxis a couple of times to save time. However, if it was closer to the action, this place would be way more expensive for how great it is.
Overall, Yifat and her husband were incredibly warm and helpful, the place was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind not being right in the center of things.
This is just a lovely place! extremely clean and cosy. Yifat is also a great host, very helpful and she recommended really nice places in Jerusalem. highly recommended!
We stayed in Yifat's beautiful, extremely clean apartment for 5 nights. It was perfect for our needs, and we enjoyed exploring the pretty neighborhood. Nice restaurants are a short walk from the apartment, as are buses and taxis. It was a little "home away from home." We look forward to staying there again sometime! Thank you so much, Yifat.
We loved Yifat's apartment and loved the neighborhood Rehavia in Jerusalem. The apartment is simply decorated with some beautiful touches.
It was easy to find parking for our rental car right outside the building (during the week you have to pay but over the weekend it is free). We had easy access to the old city and lots of restaurants and sights in Jerusalem.
Yifat could not have been a more perfect hostess. This was our first Airbnb experience and she was responsive to any questions we had, she was flexible on timing for us arriving at the apartment and offered to hold our bags at her apartment so we could sightsee before the apartment was ready.
The apartment is simple, clean, and perfect for a visit to Jerusalem. I wouldn't even consider another hotel/apartment if Yifat's apartment was available on my next visit and would certainly recommend to friends, colleagues, etc.
We were very happy to stay in Yifats appartment. It is a very nice and spacious place. It is perfectly located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, only a walk to all main sightseeing. Yifat and her husband are perfect hosts. We really felt as home. I would give 10 stars, if it was possible.
Thank you for your hospitality, Yifat!
The apartment is lovely - well set up and cosy and in a quiet but central part of Jerusalem. Yifat is lovely and responded to all our needs. The apartment worked well for two single people - both beds were very comfortable, good shower, good wifi. We would happily stay again and could stay comfortable for a longer time. So much better than a hotel.
This is why we airbnb. Yifat's apartment was nicer than a hotel room we would have paid at least twice as much for. Comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, lovely neighborhood, lovelier host. Yifat welcomed us on short notice and even put us up for just one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. We've already told our friends that this is the best, most comfortable place to stay in Jerusalem. A sanctuary in an amazing, if sometimes overwhelming city. Close to everything touristy, yet in a lovely neighborhood. Good restaurant recommendations. We felt immediately at home. Stay here!
