About the neighborhood:
The Rehavia neighborhood is one of the well-known communities in the city of Jerusalem located between the city center and Talbiya. It is one of the lavish neighborhoods in the city that can be found at the heart of Jerusalem. The neighborhood features the Gaza street which is the liveliest area in the community. It is filled with posh cafes, restaurants and bars that are ideal for amazing nightlife in the city. There is also the famous “Humus Shop” that is situated between Berlin and Gaza streets and Rehavia Sushi and Restaurant Bar a very interesting place to visit while visiting Jerusalem. Rehavia neighborhood is filled with an enchanting beauty and charm making (email hidden) to stay while vacationing in the Holy City.
This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay when in Jerusalem. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Yifat is the best host one could imagine. For several days before my stay she would respond to emails and provide complete answers to questions - no matter how silly.
The little house is a treasure. Immaculate and well-provisioned.
Thank you Yifat.
Yifat's Apprtment is lovely. I stayed there with my mother and daughter. It was really clean en cool. It's a bit down from the street which makes it nice and private. Yifat and here family were lovely and very helpfull. I would reccomend this place anytime.
Yifat (email hidden): very friendly, cooperative and helpful. Her apartment (email hidden) to stay in Jerusalem. Located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, you can still reach all important places within walking distance. It was very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished.
Yifat's apartment was exactly what she advertised. It was very nicely decorated, in a great area, and was very clean. Yifat heard that we were bringing our 9 month old son and put in a crib and a box of toys for him to play with without us asking. They were just there when we arrived. Yifat drove me (I followed in my rented car) to the local free parking area so I wouldn't have to pay anything for parking and recommended amazingly delicious restaurants in the area for us to go to. I would strongly recommend this apartment to any couple looking for an apartment to rent in Jerusalem.
Yifat and Sharon were such a great couple to rent from. They made the entire process very easy and everything about the apartment was true to heart, and even went the extra mile of helping my dad and I arrange two separate transportation modes back to the airport. The place was adorable and in a pretty decent location if you didn't mind walking a bit to get to the main roads. It was VERY clean and comfortable, the pictures don't even do it justice. The price was definitely affordable too compared to hotels. If ever in Jerusalem again I would rent from them again in a heartbeat.
My wife and I spent seven nights at Yifats' gorgeous apartment. It is as it appears in the pictures and quite comfortable. My only complaint is Yifat can be unavailable at critical times. When the taxi she ordered in advance to take us to the airport failed to show up at the appointed time, Yifat was nowhere to be found. She didn't respond to repeated knocking at her door or my cell phone call. Ten minutes later, with the clock ticking, we found our own taxi. This being said shouldn't influence your decision to stay here. Highly recommend!!!
We stayed at Yifat's apt. 5 nights in early March. The apt. is set back far from the street, which is in a very quiet, safe residential area. There was a little delay getting into the apt., because Yifat was having some trouble with her new cell phone, but everything worked out. The 1 bedroom apt. is very clean and fully met our needs. Yifat was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to see in the area. The location is convenient to the Old City and nearby is the Israel Museum and the Monastery of the Holy Cross, which we hadn't previously considered visiting. All in all, a great experience, and would highly recommend staying in Yifat's apt.
We stayed three nights in Jerusalem -- two att Yifat's and one at Ecce Homo convent. Yifat's place was great, perfect for a couple.
She was extremely Kind and gave us fabulous addresses in town. She's the best airbnb host I've had so far.
This was a great apartment, clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. Yifat responded quickly when I had a question. I would stay here again.
We stayed at Yifat's lovely apartment for 2 nights in December - right after the crazy storm! The place was impeccably clean, well-designed (great rainfall shower, modern finishes), and as warm as it gets in Israel in the winter. There was a wall mounted heater in the main room, a space heater in the bedroom, and a heater in the bathroom, as well as lots of extra blankets. It was comfortable, but not warm to North American standards - however, this is typical of everywhere we went in Israel - houses just aren't built for cold weather. Bring warm socks/slippers to keep your feet warm on the tile floor.
In terms of location, Rehavia is a really lovely residential neighborhood and I can see this place being great for a longer-term stay. My husband and I only had 2 days and were planning to walk everywhere, so in hind sight, should have stayed closer to the old city or center of town - it was a bit of a trek to get anywhere and we did take taxis a couple of times to save time. However, if it was closer to the action, this place would be way more expensive for how great it is.
Overall, Yifat and her husband were incredibly warm and helpful, the place was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind not being right in the center of things.
