  • We stayed in 4 roads and this was our favorite. Marc is a fantastic host and both places he recommended to eat we're delicious! Also, his helper arranged for us to go to a soccer game; the driver they procured was friendly, prompt and fun to hang out with. Also, this Riad has the best location, right in the middle of the medina and only 2 minutes from the main plaza. Finally, the decor is bohemian and gorgeous! Thank you!!

  • Marc was SO helpful leading up to our trip. From organising airport transfer to stay at this amazing riad and organising the best dessert tour. Unfortunately Marc was not there but his friends and mum helped us out! They were so lovely! Lola - Marc's mum was very helpful to show the go to places on a map! This matched with Marc's email listing these places! The riad is absolutely lovely! My husband and I want our own home to look like it! All the interior was amazing! The breakfast was SO yum! And it was served on the terrace where it was so nice and sunny! My husband and I loved staying here.. It's hidden amongst all the little stalls but it is what I called - "The secret door to heaven!' Highly recommend!

  • Our stay at Marc's Riad Lola in April 2014 was a great start for our trip in morocco. The beautiful place is located directly in the center of Marrakech only a few meters from Jemaa el-Fna. You feel like in a dream after you entered the hidden door next to small shops and find yourself in an oasis of silence in this noisy city. The interior design, the people, the roof top terrace and the additional information (best restaurants, places to see,...) by his mom were just amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean; the breakfast ist very delicious and served on the roof top terrace. Thank you for this incredible stay! We would highly recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back.

  • We had the most wonderful stay at Riad Lola! Marc and Lola were wonderful hosts and truly made our stay in Marrakesh. The Riad itself is very stylish and perfectly located in the center of the old town. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and made the best start to each day! I recommend Riad Lola entirely and hope to visit again one day.

  • Our stay in Riad Lola was fantastic. Everything was done to make us feel welcome. Lola and her staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were met at the airport and taken to the Riad. This involved being guided through the Jemaa el Fna which was a mind blowing experience when you are fresh off the plane!
The Riad itself is hidden behind an un-signed wooden door in a narrow lane and it would be impossible to find without help. Once you enter through the door, the hustle and bustle of the city is replaced by the sound of water trickling down the interior waterfall. We were offered a cup of mint tea while we got our bearings and unpacked. As it was late in the evening we were taken out and shown a couple of options of good places to eat and a couple of landmarks to help us find our way back to the Riad.
Our room was really comfortable and we slept well...until the early morning call to prayer and the tweeting of songbirds woke us, but what great sounds to wake to!
Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace. We visited in late March and sitting in the early morning sun eating fresh fruit, omelette, yoghurt and pancake was one of the best bits of the day.
Lola and her staff really care about their visitors. They are all multi-lingual and we were able to practice our Spanish with them, which was an added bonus. Lola has decorated the Riad in a unique style with plenty of places in the lounge and the rooftop terrace to spend some quiet time away from the noise outside.
I would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone thinking of visiting Marrakesh, mainly because of the welcome you will get, but also because of the location, right in the centre of this lively city.

  • My boyfriend and I had an amazing time in Marrakech at the Riad Lola. We had minor difficulty getting to marrakech due to airline issues and Marc was great with communicating back and forth with us and had a taxi waiting for us at the airport. The Riad was absolutely beautiful from the decor, to the rooftop breakfast on the terrace, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Riad Lola. Really wish we could have stayed a little longer. The location of the Riad was also perfect, close to the action of Jemma el Fnaa which was the central point while navigating through the city. Lola was such a nice lady, and an exceptional host she was there whenever we needed anything.

Highest recommendations to Riad Lola and the staff they truly made our stay a great one!

  • What a delightful find! Marc and his mother were exceptional hosts and were so so helpful during our stay. The rooms, roof top and main building are just beautiful. The Riad is tucked away right in the action of Marrakech and a perfect location.

The breakfast on the terrace is a lovely way to start the day. Could not recommend this accommodation more and wish we could have stayed longer :)

  • Marc is a charming, hospitable and caring host. We loved the interior design of the Riad and it was perfectly situated to enjoy the main square with its amazing street food and entertainment.

  • Lola's riad is lovely - intimate, beautifully and tastefully decorated, with a wonderful terrace and extremely helpful owners who did their best to make sure we are well taken care of. Located in the heart of the medina it's easily accessible from anywhere and makes it very easy to explore the city.
Freshly made breakfast is the best!
