From start to finish Lola and Marc made us feel so welcome. Riad Lola is the most amazing gem in the heart of the Berber market off the main square. The place is done out so tastefully, calm and clean. Breakfasts on the terrace and a quick dip in the plunge pool before hitting the city sites. Isham's home cooked dinner was delicious too. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable stay. All 5 of us voted yours the best of all the places we stayed in.
This was my first experience with air BnB and I doubt I will ever have anything quite the same. We were picked up from the airport via the riad's transfer (highly recommended) and dropped off in the main square where a guide was waiting to take us on the short walk through the square and souk. When we arrived at Riad Lola we were absolutely astounded that this peaceful haven was right there in the midst of the chaotic souks.
A water-feature trickled, candlelight flickered and we couldn't hear anything of the outside world. A carefully curated, bowerbird-esk collection of eclectic and exotic pieces from all over the world created the most beautiful and stylish living areas, as soon as we settled in we never wanted to leave.
Our boutique room was dreamy and moody, an incredible Moroccan light-fitting threw light over the perfectly curated design pieces that centred themselves around what was quite possibly the world's largest bed.
The bathroom was lush and large with a huge bath and thoughtful touches such as rose water and bathrobes.
After a wonderful nights sleep we awoke and made our way to the rooftop terrace where the staff bought us the complimentary breakfast.
Lola, Marc's mother after who the riad is named. Gave us some info and kindly arranged for us to experience a wonderful hamman and massage at her favourite spa.
I could not recommend this riad enough and I absolutely can't wait for my next trip to Marrakech so I can stay here again.
The Riad is very difficult to find so it's best to have someone from the Riad meet you and take you there. Unfortunately I had problems getting through to the owner on the phone to let him know I was at the arranged meeting place and so I ended up having to look for the place on my own and it was very frustrating as all the locals kept asking me what the name of the Riad was to help me find it and there is no name. On the actual street of the Riad, no one knew about it. After about an hour of looking and asking around I finally found the place by luck. That was very frustrating and tiring. Once inside, it was a relief! The Riad itself is beautiful and the rooms very nicely decorated and clean. It is very quiet and peaceful even though it is right in the middle of the main square. It was very hot during the summer days I was there and Air Conditioning was a must. The first night there was a problem with the Air Conditioning (noisy and not cooling) but Marc immediately moved me to another room. I took the room downstairs which was much cooler and the AC worked well. The owner, Marc was very responsive. The upstairs terrace is very nice but hot during the day and unfortunately the one fan they have does not work. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special except the fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious yogurt. The people that help in the Riad are very nice and helpful.
Absolutely loved our stay at Riad Lola!
Marc was extremely helpful in organising transport and advising us the best places to eat and visit. The rooftop terrace was perfect after a hot day in the souks, and the staff were so lovely and helpful.
I would definitely advise people to get the car booked through Marc as the Riad would be difficult to find if it's your first visit to Marrakech!
Will definitely be visiting again - thank you so much!

This is probably the best experience I have ever had using Airbnb. We were picked up from the airport very smoothly and taken to our accommodation. The riad is located in along the market streets, but you would never know. Once you enter the riad the space is just glorious. We were greeted by Habib who was a wonderful host and gave us all the information we needed. Our room was AMAZING, massive and just so lovely. The roof top is also so beautiful, three lovely sunbeds and a pool which is large enough. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to the square and restaurants. Overall this was an amazing experience. Habib was such a great person and we really appreciated all the information he provided us with. I would HIGHLY recommend this riad!! Thank you again :)
Marc was a very hospitable and accommodating host. He wasn't present for our stay, but his mother looked after us brilliantly and both recommended loads of fantastic things to see and do. They clearly know and love the city very well. The riad itself was in a great location, very comfortable and stylish. All staff were friendly and helped answer any questions we had. Highly recommended.
Marc was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome in the Riad. He helped us book a last minute trip due to our own disorganisation and also gave great local advice.
The riad itself is beautifully designed and is a stones throw from the main square. The Riad is very peaceful and quiet with an excellent rooftop terrace. Breakfast was also great!
