We had a very comfortable stay in your appartement. Although it was very crowded in Rome-Center, the neighborhood felt like home with nearby grocery stores to get some wine, cheese and sausage. The close-by metro-station was a good place to start, and it was very convenient to explore Rome. Not to forget this wonderful Eataly-place.
We would come back anytime.
Fantastic apartment, wonderful atmosphere and great location. The welcome and instructions/local information were faultless and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending staying here. We were a group of 2 families with 4 children and it suited us perfectly. Easy to access all the sights of Rome and lots of restaurants and shops for eating in the evening. The garden was beautiful (wisteria in full flower) and it was quiet at night. A great trip - thank you.
We had a fantastic stay in this giant apartment. The outdoor space was a great-to-have, the location was perfect, near up-and-coming Testaccio and close to public transport. We cooked several times in the apartment's fantastic kitchen, and the communal area made this place a great home base during our stay. One big thanks to Francesca for pointing out to leave ID cards and other important documents at the house. Our Mom's wallet was stolen out of her purse right before our eyes on the subway by two young women, one of them pretending to be pregnant with a pillow tied to her tummy, between Circo Massimo (our stop), Colosseo and Cavour. Be very very careful. Without Francesca's good advise, traveling home could have been much more complicated. Don't let it discourage you, just be wary and observe your surroundings.
We had the best time in Rome. The apartment is superb and it felt homely. We loved the terrace too, lovely dappled shade I. The bright warm sunshine.
Francesca, Daniela and Cristina were all friendly, helpful, and they responded immediately to questions. They gave my mum a box of chocolates and bottle of wine for her 80th birthday.
Testaccio is full of superb restaurants and we loved Volpetti's deli. It is only a 20 minute walk from the colleseum and was close to the keyhole view of the Vatican, which we walked up to in the evening. It was easy to get to the main sites from Testaccio too.
We had a very special time there and I will definitely book another holiday there. Highly recommended.
A note about airbnb...they did not change my booking even though I had requested a change. I booked one night extra, altered the booking but airbnb never got back to me.
Also airbnb take the whole of the fee immediately and then don't pay the host until after your visit.
We had a wonderful stay in Francesca's apartment in Rome. What you see on the pictures is what you'll get! If we had a question, we always received a answer from our host Daniella in 5 minutes. Daniella even organised a transport from the airport to the apartment and at the end of our stay back to the airport. We stayed in Ripa, a neighbourhood whit a lot of small supermarkets and restaurants. We reached a lot of beautiful places from Rome by feet, (about 20 minutes walk). Thank you Fransesca and Daniella for your great hospitality!
This was a great apartment! The decor was beautiful and it had just about everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot - the location was nice in that it was in a quiet, safe neighborhood, but was in walking distance of the more touristy parts of Rome.
