Just a few words to tell you, whoever you are ,that I would be very pleased to welcome you and share brief moments with you if you wish to meet people and discover the surroundings which are beautiful!
Aix en Provence is 15 minutes' drive and Marseille is 20 minutes' drive .But there are also buses and the bus stop is near the house situated in a little typical Provençal village called Cabries halfway between Marseille and Aix en Provence.
The Mediterranean sea is not too far either . It's 30 minutes' drive and the views you can get even in autumn or winter time are beautiful.
So if you feel like having a break in Provence, do let me know .
I teach English in a secundary school nearby and I am looking forward to welcome you. I forgot to tell you . I have got a dog called , Crocket and a cat called Théo.
Hope to see you soon .
tres bon accueil, logement tres correct , conforme avec la photo
We were welcomed by Marie at the gate as soon as we arrived and she immediately offered us a cup of tea and chocolate. This was much appreciated as we had just finish a long day of riding. The room is exactly as pictured and Marie allowed us to use her kitchen and washing machine during our stay. Her house is a short walk from a small market and bakery where you could get anything you needed. We had a great time getting to know Marie and would recommend her place to anyone trying to get out of the city.
Très bon accueil, très chaleureux. Merci encore!
Merci Marie d'avoir accueilli mon fils. Tout s'est très bien passé et il reviendra certainement vous voir. A bientôt
I stayed at Marie's home in a village called Cabries for 4 days while visiting Aix-en-Provence. She is a very warm and caring person and an absolutely wonderful host. She met me at the train station which was a tremendous help. After showing me around her house she included me in a trip to Marseille with a friend and later, took me food shopping. She made sure that I had everything I needed in her home, especially a heater and extra blankets since it was cold in the guest room at night in late February. We had some good conversations over some meals together and she even invited some neighbors over to her house to meet me.
Although Cabries seemed a bit remote there was a bus stop practically right outside Marie's door; the bus took me to Aix-en-Provence in 30 minutes. From Aix Center there is a large tourism office and you can catch any number of buses to other places. Essentially, transportation without a car was not a problem from her home; it was very inexpensive as well.
Marie always accommodated my travel plans and made sure that I understood the best way to get around.
The guest room was right off of the kitchen and had its own entrance in case I wanted more privacy. The room had a large comfortable bed which converted into a sofa, a desk and chair, a table, clothing rack, a sink, and its own bathroom, which was very convenient. In addition to using the kitchen I was always welcome to use the other common rooms in the house. And I was able to wash my clothes after many days of traveling.
I appreciate all that Marie did to make my stay as pleasant as possible. On my final day, she drove me to a bus stop which made my trip to the Marseille train station much easier. I'd like to thank Marie for her hospitality and best wishes.
Mary is very kind and hospitable, she picked me up in Aix, she invited me to his table... I felt it as my home! In addition Cabriés is a very quiet and picturesque town in the heart of Provence.

We had a great time at Marie's house ! The house is not far from Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, located in a charming village. Marie is a wonderful host, she and her daugther helped us a lot, giving us informations about how to go to Marseille by train, things to see, etc. The room is very confortable and quiet, with all the necessary equipment.
Thank you Marie and Pauline for everything !
Marie was very kind, going out of her way to ensure I was safe, she picked me and dropped me off on my way. A lovely restful stay - thank you Marie!
