Come Visit Our Little Beach Cottage and experience an "Old Jersey Shore" style holiday in your personal beach cottage getaway. We are located in North Cape May close to the white sugar sand and turquoise waters of the Delaware Bay. Our cozy cottage is reminiscent of the old Shore lifestyle preserving the charm of yesterday but with all the modern conveniences. We are truly a place to relax and get away from it all.
Located strategically in North Cape May for day trips to downtown Cape May or a ferry ride to Delaware. You can also go boating, sailing, fishing. Travel easily to many interior state parks. Lively nightlife. Gourmet restaurants abound, galleries and quaint beach shops are a car, bike or Trolley ride away.
Our guesthouse is its own little house next to the main cottage. It has one bedroom with a queen bed, livingroom and full bath. We also have a small kitchenette stocked with coffee, tea, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, dishes, silverware and glasses.
Was fully-renovated in 2010. Offers guests central heat/air, a fire pit, the best outdoor shower, beach bikes for a leisurely ride to the bay. Beach towels & chairs for a lazy day at the beach. We have everything to make your holiday memorable. No high-rises here, just peace and privacy.
Reserve your memories today!
Just a few rules but please most of all, enjoy your stay!
2 guest only, No children or pets, smoking outside only. please lock bikes, no wet bathing suits on sofa. If you go to the pay beach you need beach tags we found that if you bring our beach bag to the beach (two tags are on bag) they end up staying around after your check out as people tend to forget that they have them on suits or pockets till they get home.. So if they get lost we have to charge you $25 each for a replacement .Please clean dishes and take trash, bottles and cans to the trash at side of main cottage.
Another absolutely wonderful stay at Canyon's. Cape May is gorgeous during the holiday season! The hospitality is always exceptional! Looking forward to our next stay.
This was our first airbnb experience, & we were not disappointed. The cottage was charming as listed. We enjoyed the privacy our host provided us. We never met him personally, but received e-mail from him on Sunday am, with his well wishes for us enjoying our stay. He also recommended we check out the local lima bean festival in town. This was a nice touch. He again made it known we could contact him for any reason during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!

Canyon was a great host! Even though we never got to meet him in person, he was always available via phone for any questions/suggestions during our stay. The guesthouse, while small, is very clean and nicely decorated. He even made sure to leave us fresh muffins and fruit for breakfast, and yummy-smelling soaps to use in the bathroom. His place is in close proximity to South Cape May and Wildwoods via car, making getting around town a cinch. The only issue we encountered were mosquitoes in the room (probably due to the muggy weather), but Canyon was quick to offer suggestions on how to handle these. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!
Although we never did meet Canyon, we knew we could reach him at any time, if necessary. We exchanged several emails prior to the trip and we had all the info we needed to make the best of our weekend.
The beach cottage is adorable - just like the photos and description. We were impressed with each little detail - the welcoming basket of fruit and muffins, plenty of coffee, tea and even a carton of half-n-half in the fridge. There were fresh flowers on the table, yummy chocolate by the bed, and lovely handmade soaps and bath scrub for our use. The decor is bright, beachy and happy! The beach is just a quick bike ride down the street - great place to watch the sunset. Just a little further down the road was a fun spot for dinner and drinks - Harpoon Henry's. Bikes are available to use, as well as beach chairs and a fabulous outdoor shower. The area is very convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, but close to many things. We hope to visit the Cool Cape May Guesthouse again and we will surely recommend it to friends and family.
Canyon was an excellent host. Upon our arrival we had fresh fruit and muffins awaiting us as well as a nice clean house. He left us some of his stores soap which smelled amazing to try! The house was very private and we enjoyed using the firepit as well as the bikes! Awesome host would love to rent with again,
We stayed at Canyon's wonderful little house for 3 nights and had a great time! Everything looks exactly like the pictures and we really loved aĺl the attention to detail. There even was a fresh bouquet of flowers on the table! Also it was great to have a beach bag with towels ready and beach chairs and bikes to use! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Since the appartment is located in north cape may you need wheels to get to cape may. However this was not an issue for us. We would stay again at Canyon's beautiful place any time!
Ummm this place could not be more perfect. Adorable. Already planning our next stay next year. Canyon was incredibly welcoming even though we never saw him during our stay (very private)! We had one issue where the coffee maker wasn't working and with one text, Canyon had a new one ready for us within the hour. Totally unexpected and amazing hospitality. We took the bikes out to the beach and even enjoyed the hammock in the back. First visit to Cape May and Canyon's guesthouse was a perfect place to stay!
I'm a friendly, low key kind of guy from the east coast. Love to do all kinds of art, music, friends & family, love the beach, biking and my kayak.
Living in a seashore resort, I get to spend my time off in the Florida keys .
Being a host with airbnb, It's always fun to share with others who are having their own travel adventures.
