The space
Come Visit Our Little Beach Cottage and experience an "Old Jersey Shore" style holiday in your personal beach cottage getaway. We are located in North Cape May close to the white sugar sand and turquoise waters of the Delaware Bay. Our cozy cottage is reminiscent of the old Shore lifestyle preserving the charm of yesterday but with all the modern conveniences. We are truly a place to relax and get away from it all.
Located strategically in North Cape May for day trips to downtown Cape May or a ferry ride to Delaware. You can also go boating, sailing, fishing. Travel easily to many interior state parks. Lively nightlife. Gourmet restaurants abound, galleries and quaint beach shops are a car, bike or Trolley ride away.
Our guesthouse is its own little house next to the main cottage. It has one bedroom with a queen bed, livingroom and full bath. We also have a small kitchenette stocked with coffee, tea, coffee maker, microwave, fridge with a freezer, dishes, silverware and glasses.
Was fully-renovated in 2015 and a new bathroom in summer of 2019. Offers guests central heat/air, a fire pit, the best outdoor shower, Bicycle built for two for a leisurely ride to the bay. Beach towels & chairs for a lazy day at the beach. We have everything to make your holiday memorable. No high-rises here, just peace and privacy.

Our favorite time in Cape May is September and October. You might think it’s a seashore resort and it’s the end of the season after August, but hey us locals know it’s really the best time, no waits at restaurants, beaches are empty, the water temperature is the warmest the ocean has been all summer. Sill lovely weather. It’s like you have the town to yourself. And we charge less. So don’t pass it up you won’t regret it!
Reserve your memories today!

Please no pets, two guest only no children /infants.

Guest access
Our cottage is its own building on our property next to the main cottage. You have a private deck with walls around it. We don’t use our yard when we have guest so it’s very private and gated to feel safe and the yard is lush with plants and trees. Guest say it reminds them of Key West.

Other things to note
Our street floods really bad on heavy rain, so we might give you a heads up to move the car to a better location (just a few cars down from our house) and if you can remember to cover couches with covers that are in side table to keep them dry for you for when rain stops. It takes days for them to dry. Our trash cans are at the gate on right side of house. They are blue but they are not recyclable. We have a small low to the ground one for that. So in small blue container it’s glass, metal and paper/cardboard.

Neighborhood highlights

We are in the working class, weekenders part of town. Most of the cottages like ours were just summer Bungalo’s that didn’t have heat. They would close them after summer and would be back the next year. Our street is probably 50 50 with living here half the time. What people don’t know is our beach about 8 to 10 blocks away is like a hidden gem that only we know about. So it’s never really crowded and we have the best sunsets in jersey right at the end of our block. It’s really magical at that time everyone comes out and walks down, bring a blanket and drink and feel the day slip away. We have the acme groceries a few blocks away. If you go out to the left two blocks we have a bagel shop. Behind us we have red brick, doesn’t look like much but has great burgers and get an orange crush drink. If you walk to the right we have uncle bills pancake house. If your not from NJ or PA try pork roll it’s a shore thing. Take the bikes out for a ride bring the locks. Head to the ferry they have a bar and you can sit outside and watch the ferry’s come in from Delaware. Wednesday nights @5 they have music go to mikes bay shore cafe and get the fried tomato and then a bottle of wine alone with the beach chairs to hang on the ferry’s grass to listen to some music.

I'm a friendly, low key kind of guy from the east coast. Love to do all kinds of art, music, friends & family, love the beach, biking and my kayak. Living in a seashore resort, I get to spend my time off in the Florida keys . Being a host with airbnb, It's always fun to share with others who are having their own travel adventures.
