El apartamento es súper céntrico. A unas cuadras del Bellas Artes y Zócalo. El Apart es exactamente como en la foto, limpio y moderno. Gonzalo y Angela siempre estuvo al tanto de nosatras. Lo recomiendo!
This was a superb experience. Gonzalo responded very quickly to all communication, was extremely friendly and helpful, and everything went seamlessly. We were greeted by one of his team members upon arrival who helped us unload our car and get settled into the apartment. He didn't speak much English, but we got by between my Spanish and his English. Additionally, I had regular correspondence throughout our stay with another team member, Angela, who was super attentive and helpful with little things like organizing airport transfers and making excellent restaurant (email hidden)d who has great English! Thanks, Angela.
The apartment is wonderful. It is located in a large, modern apartment complex in a really nice part of town, just a couple of minutes from Alameda Central (the park that abuts the Bellas Artes). There are many cafes and restaurants and other conveniences (incl. tourist info and transportation) really close by, and the apartment building itself has numerous amenities from cafes to gyms to pools.
What you see in the photos is what you get in terms of the apartment - a beautiful, modern, two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with good living space. The wifi was strong and reliable and everything worked well. There is no washing machine or dryer, but the apartment complex has a very affordable laundry service. The hosts even had a cell phone for us to use during our stay.
From the quality of the apartment to the neighborhood to the host and his team, I highly recommend this place and will definitely bookmark it for my next trip to Mexico City.
The location of the apartment is incredibly convenient, just walking distance from Parque de la Alameda, Bellas Artes and the art and crafts museum among many other treasures. The building offers a pool, a laundry service and a gym. The people in charge of the apartment were very helpful and Gonzalo was always quick and efficient with every question and request we had. Gonzalo arranged our transportation, and the driver (Osealdo) he had for us was completely above and beyond our expectations.
Our stay was pleasant. We stayed one week.
pros: good central location, nice building with amenities, apartment is well equipped, great taco place across the street, close to metro station one block away from Alameda central park, there is lots of action to view from the windows, email returns are prompt. Market, restaurants, bakery and café near by.
Cons: the company that receives you is often trying to sale you a something (taxi, tours, etc.) The beds are uncomfortable, the street is loud outside (this didn't bother me, but if you are a light sleeper it may be a problem), the apartment is nicer in the pictures.
We would come back.
Firstly, it is in an excellent location. Right by Bella Artes park and the palace in the Centro. Easy walking distance to the Zocalo and the attractions/museums in the center of Mexico City. Building security is very good with 24/7 monitoring with multiple security personnel and card entry into the building. Gabriel/Angela/Mariana were very helpful in check-in and providing fast responses to queries about the place. Close to metro stations and multiple restaurants/bakeries/stores in the immediate vicinity. All in all, it was a good experience.
Overall our stay at Gonzalo's place was fairly good. We had a bumpy start to the trip with a few miscommunications. But Angela quickly remedied the issues and the rest of our stay was very nice.
The location and apartment are both excellent. It is only a 15 minute walk from the Zocalo square and even closer to the Palace of Fine Arts. There are tons of restaurants and markets nearby. And you can easily reach the subway system from the house. It is also a very safe location and you can leave your valuables in the apartment with no worries.
The apartment itself was in great shape and looks exactly as it does in the picture. The kitchen is pretty well equipped and the rooms are nice, cozy, and clean.
Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again. Thanks Gonzalo & Sandra!

About the Host, Gonzalo & Sandra
I am from Mexico City, but I am living now in NYC while studying a master degree in Music Performance (Piano). While I come back, I rent my place on airbnbn. A friend of mine manages the property making sure everything goes well with my guests.
I like Mexico City very much, and I know every single thing to do and see there, specially historical places and museum. I like to analyze and understand how the city has taken it's current shape, leaving traces of the past if you are curious enough..
