About this listing
Lake Arrowhead is one of the most beautiful place in the mountains in Southern California and is centrally located from Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego.About a half hour drive to the nearest Ski Resort, Snow Valley.
Want to get away for some peace and quite in one of the most beautiful areas of the San Bernardino Mountains, come up to Lake Arrowhead.
Located near the Lake Arrowhead Country Club and minutes from Lake Arrowhead, Lake Arrowhead Village, Blue Jay, Twin Peaks, Lake Gregory and Grass Valley Lake. To the ski resorts: 30 minutes to Snow Valley and about an hour to Snow Summit (Big Bear) and Mountain High. 15 minutes to the Pinnacles for some of the best motorcycle, quad, jeep or hiking in Southern California.
Our home is located around the 6000ft level in the heavily forested area above Lake Arrowhead Country Club. About a 30 minute drive from the bottom of the mountain (210 freeway) on a four lane highway until you get to Rim Of The World Highway.
The home consists of living room, dining area, kitchen, one master bedroom (king size bed) and two other bedrooms each with king size beds. Sleeps 6 on the beds with two additional air mattress's. Bathroom both up stairs and downstairs. Fully stocked kitchen, linens provided form the bedrooms and towels for the baths. Lots of windows, 2 sliders for spectacular views. Fenced back yard and open front yard. Plenty of private parking as it is at the end of a cul da sac. Outside has decking around the home and a great place to spend time outside barbecuing.
Make sure you check the weather before coming up and have chains if needed. You enter our home from a service road which is normally not plowed. If it has snowed or is going to snow you need to be prepared and take the necessary steps to get in and out, like chains. We do have a few telephone numbers of people who may or may not be available to plow the road if there is a lot of snow. If you know it's going to snow and you want to get out it may be worth parking at the end of the road in the culd de sac. Plan ahead.

Bob was very helpful and gave me many helpful hints. The cabin was very accurately described and very nice. The location in the woods is beautiful. It's at the end of a road so very private and quiet. We had a great time and really enjoyed playing on and walking around Lake Gregory.
Bob was very helpful and responded quickly before we arrived and once we were there answering questions and providing suggestions about things to do and a restaurant suggestion. The cabin was clean and cozy, the neighbors were really nice and answered a few questions we had and we even had beautiful weather! Bob was also flexible about our check-out time which we greatly appreciated. He was a gracious host.
This cabin was everything we wanted for a family fun getaway: clean, cozy, and minutes away from Lake Arrowhead. Our family of 8 had plenty of blankets, pillows, towels and the heating was perfect for my 11 month old daughter. Lovely cabin all around in a quiet neighborhood!
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for some quality time. It has everything you need!! The host, Bob is great! He provide most of the information and really hopeful. My and My friends had a really great time here. The cabin has a really lovely decoration and it is nice and clean.
The host was great. He was responsive to all the concerns we had, not that we had that much.
Bob was very helpful and answered any questions very fast. This cabin was beautiful and very clean. The location was great!
Upon arriving at the home we immediately noticed that the home was quite small and (website hidden)'s didn't work and furnitures including bedsheets felt incredibly old. If motel 6 circa 1960's is your style then this is the place for you!
I’m a little surprised to hear of your disappointments Manny since you called me a few hours after you left and said you had a good time. Out of 41 reviews this is the first negative review we’ve received.
As far as our home feeling “quite small and outdated”, I can totally understand you feeling like our place was small especially when you booked for 8 people and showed up with 12+. That is the reason we have a 8 person limit, not 12+ person limit. As far as outdated, I’m sorry our mountain home, which mostly oak furniture throughout felt like a “Motel 6”.
When you arrived and called me about the TV in one of the bedrooms not working, I explained to you I had just installed it a few days prior and the power cord was missing and there was a TV in family room which works just fine. Other then that, I don’t know what you mean by “TV’s” not working.
I’m sorry your stay wasn’t up to your expectations.
About the Host, Bob
We absolutely love being up in Lake Arrowhead. Mostly for the peace and quite but really enjoy the summer concerts in Lake Arrowhead Village and eating at Papagayos, our favorite Mexican Restaurant. I'm a Wedding, Event and Nature Photographer located in the Inland Empire.
