So I can review half of this operation but I think it's an important half.
We booked at the last minute for the weekend since we were in the process of selling my house and needed someplace to stay while we finished up the details The buyer wanted to rush the deal and get into the house fast.
Well as it turns out the buyer messed some stuff up and we didn't have to stay elsewhere since we were able to stay in my house one last weekend before it sold. We couldn't cancel our res at Tahoma Meadows(which is fine- the buyer was on the hook for the cost of staying). Gail and Mathew at TMB&B we super nice and tried to figure out what to do- they managed to get our stay cut in half (they rented one night) and then Gail said "but you should come by for breakfast on the day you paying for it anyway".
We stopped by and had yummy breakfast and Gail was really delightful and even let us see the place we would have been staying if we stayed there so we would know what to expect.
Long story even longer, my house closed and we no longer have property up in Tahoe- but we know exactly where we'll stay when we go back.
So to sum up: The service is great and the breakfast was delightful- we didn't stay- but the cabins looked super cute.
Thanks TMB&B- you were lovely!
What a delightful experience! We had Matthew to ourselves for Friday night's Happy Hour! Couldn't ask for a better ambassador to your property Dick and Ulli! He speaks so highly of you-sorry we didn't get to meet you! Nancy is the BEST cook!!! Our puppy Scruffy thought it was a great weekend! He loved the doggie bags from all of the restaurants Matt suggested.
Thank you all!!!
Dick and his team at the Tahoe Cottage B&B are top notch! We were so thankful for all the hiking suggestions we learned from Dick before our arrival. We went on a 10 mile hike up to Crags lake and took a dip before hiking down and checking into our cottage. The property is really beautiful and very well maintained. The cottage is so charming, nicely decorated and we loved the original touches, such as, the clawfoot tub in the bathroom. Breakfast was incredible! Don't miss it! We recommend a visit and hopefully we will be back soon.
Tahoe BnB is a fantastic place to spend your weekend. The breakfast spread is awesome, and the staff (especially Chris) is super friendly and helpful. I would try to stay here again, if I am in Tahoma!
This was such a great find! I have been coming up to Tahoe all my life, but staying on the West Shore at the Meadows B&B was a truely memorable and lovely experience! Will definitely recommend them as well as stay with them again!

Ulli and Dick both have extensive backgrounds in hotel and resort management. Dick worked at his family's summer resort for most of his life as well as having worked at or managed other resorts and recreation based businesses. Ulli is a graduate of the Steigenberger Hotel School near Munich Germany and has worked for Intercontinental and Kempinski Hotels in Germany. We hope that our backgrounds will help us serve you well. Our goal is to make you feel right at home!
We have lived in the area full time for over 17 years and feel that you shouldn't have to be a Tahoe local to know the areas special places. We are avid outdoors people so we can point you in the right direction for just about any activity. We encourage our guests to not be shy about asking questions. We also have a fully ADA compliant cottage. Just let us know if you have special needs. No question is too silly, it's only silly not to ask.
We hope you include a stay at our bed and breakfast as a part of your Tahoe experience. We are looking forward to meeting you.
