In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the use of the Unit A-24 Tennisplace its related events and activities, I/we the airbnb guest rental party, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
2: I/WE KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my/our participation; and,
3: I/We willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I/we observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I/we will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the airbnb host immediately; and,

Our host, Paul was very responsive to all of our initial questions before we booked his condo. He provides a great alternative to a hotel and his condo overlooks a canal which attracts lots of birds and an occasional dolphin. We loved the location of this condo, it is one of the few complexes on Sanibel where you can easily get to your unit without going through any traffic which begins at the intersection from the causeway at Periwinkle. The condo is within close proximity of foot and bike path that goes under the causeway and traverses the island. The condo is also a short bike ride to a number of beaches that enabled us to enjoy the beach without any hassles of parking. We were very pleased with the comfortable beds and the condition of Paul's bicycles as well as having the use of his kayaks and the complex pool. The other thing that we appreciated was the peace and quiet. We would highly recommend Paul's condo.

My family had a wonderful stay on Sanibel Island. The condo was exactly as described, and we ran into no issues during our stay. The provided bicycles make travel to and from the beach quite easy, as the roads were very congested with vehicles during our stay. We would definitely do business with Paul again.
Paul provided great detail in an email before we arrived that made our arrival easy, access to his condo just as he said. Neighborhood and neighbors were very nice. It was easy to get around the island and we enjoyed having access to Paul's bikes and kayaks.
Our family of four (including two kids ages 5 & 7) stayed at the condo for 6 days this November. The complex was very well-located right off the causeway in a quiet area on the canal. We were able to use the bikes Paul provided, and rented attachments for the kids at Billy's bike rentals. The condo is located on the bike path, and we rode nearly the whole path over the course of the week. It's also less than a two-mile ride to the lighthouse and fishing pier, a great place to go with kids at the end of the day.
At Paul's suggestion we picked up groceries for the week at Publix on our way to Sanibel. There were also lots of places to eat on the island. We liked Fresh Taqueria and the donuts at Bennett's.
The condo was very clean and had absolutely everything we could need in terms of kitchen utilities, bedding, bath and beach towels, etc. Everything was very organized and instructions were clear.
Although the outdoor picnic table and grill is a shared space, we never saw anyone else there, and we had a few lunches outside. The only other creatures were the salamanders.
Kids loved the heated pool!
A nice, cozy, clean, comfortable condo. Nicely stocked with supplies and equipment as well. Very calm and quiet environment. Paul was so thorough with his instructions there was no need to contact him after our arrival. We want to come back and take advantage of the equipment available that we didn't have a chance to use. The view from the lanai was very nice. Nicely located just over the causeway.
Paul gave us detailed instructions about how to get into the apartment and was good at responding very quickly when we had a few questions. The apartment was as described - clean and contained everything we needed to cook. Even things like oil, salt etc we realized we didn't have to bring. The BBQ is easy to use outside just be mindful of the sunset 'noseeums', which ate us alive, nothing a little bug spray or long clothing won't fix. We really enjoyed having the bikes and the kayaks and used them frequently to explore the canal and the sea. We ended up only renting a car for one day and made do with the bikes the rest of the time so the location is pretty good. We did rent the car to go to the other end of the island and explore the nature preserve as that is a bit too far to bike to in the heat. The view from apartment was really great - we saw all sorts of birds and even dolphins on one occasion. We really enjoyed our stay!
We live in Burlington, Vermont, USA - we enjoy visiting Cape Cod, Massachusetts USA and Sanibel Island and Captiva, Florida USA, and when possible the Ski and Snowboard slopes of Vermont and Colorado, USA. We have a son & daughter studying at University of Colorado - Boulder USA. We have also been guests at airbnb locations: Santiago and Villarrica, Chile, Vail and Boulder CO, USA
Sanibel is a magical place - as soon as we are on the island we set out on a bicycle ride, a walk, cast a fishing pole, or launch a kayak and take a paddle to soak in all the island has to offer. With some planning you can visit Sanibel without a car! A rental car outlet is ON-Island if needed - in 2015/16 we will have a Relay Rides Car available for rental - this car will have the valuable Beach Stickers. The Sanibel-Captiva Recreation Center is top notch with daily classes like spinning, outside pool, and a clean gym fully stocked with modern equipment.
