The „Romedihof Backpacker Hostel“ is located at Brennbichl near the city of Imst in Tyrol / Austria. The Romedihof dates back to the 1500‘s and had been completely renovated in 2009, nevertheless he retained his original historical charm.
The hostel has nine sleeping rooms of various sizes, all four bathrooms have been completely rebuilt and fully furnished with modern facilities. The lounge is equipped with a tiled stove, television, games and books. Adjacent to the lounge you will find a shared kitchen.
Furthermore there is a barbecue area, drying room, shelter for cycles and a lot of place around the Romedihof to relax. For further information & pictures you can visit our website: (website hidden).
No extra charge for the bed sheets, free use of internet, kitchen, bathroom, ...
The Bread service for the breakfast is in the price included and contains 2 pieces of bread / person which is freshly delivered by the baker each morning.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen with tableware, microwave, oven, fridges, ... . Usually there is also some basic food like coffee, tea, butter, jam, noodles, ... in the "shared food" shelf.
Romedihof is a very good and relaxed space to stay. It was a bit hard to find, but we were extremely happy with the included breakfast!
We enjoyed staying in Romedihof for 3 nights in April/May. The place is clean and everything is well organized. I can recommend this place to everyone satying in the area.
Fantastic converted farm. Very cool place to stay!! Very recommendable!!
I did not see Michael, but I've met one of his familymembers, he was very friendly!
The Romedihof is a place you hope for if you want to spend a night in Austria, after a long trip. The old farm is very well renovated. The atmosphere is very good and it is cosy as well. The rooms are good, there is a central room "stube" and you can use the kitchen.
2 kaiserbrotchen, butter and marmalade are included. A place where you feel like home.
Good value for money!
I will definitely come back!
Best regards Jos, Amsterdam.
We came to ski for 7 days in the area around Imst, and feel we had the perfect place for it! Six different resorts, no more than an hours drive away. The hostel is full of character and provides great bread in the morning, along with basic spreads and cereal, coffee, plus simple cooking stuffs like oil, onions, potatoes, rice, etc (not always all of these things, but some selection or other).
A beautiful building but hard to find. Please check with Michael that the info on the website is all correct. The place is very clean and had a wonderful vibe.
We only had one night in Austria, but Michael's hostel was great. The details he provided for finding the hostel were much appreciated.
This is a perfectly organized hostel, which I can fully recommend. Everything you need is available. Perhaps the only thing I would have liked to be different is our bed (which was two single beds next to each other instead of a true double), but that's a minor detail and was perhaps due to room availability. The fresh bread in the morning was particularly nice. I will be happy to return.
This was a great place to stay for my son and I - clean, quiet and spacious - we are 195 cm so the beds needed to be long enough. Michael is gracious and made us feel welcome. He was sure we knew where everything was and provided a very good breakfast - fresh baked goods. I definitely would consider staying here again.
Nice place in a great spot. The owners are very welcoming. Would stay again.
