Peter's place was exactly as pictured and he was a great host. Very flexible on check-in and out times, and available for questions that popped up. Location is an easy walk to the subway and lots of restaurants and cafes. Super comfy bed. Stayed with 2 friends and it was pretty crowded - I think you'd be pushing it with 4! Overall was a very easy experience and a great place. Thanks!
Peter was very welcoming and accommodating to our arrival and departing. The apartment was as described, great for two, but probably not for more. The location was perfect for us to visit relatives in the area as well as getting to Manhattan. Transportation, restaurants, laundry, banks, and shopping, etc. were literally around the corner.
Apartment was as advertised - comfortable and cozy. The host was extraordinarily attentive - everything was VERY easy. The location is fantastic - two blocks from beautiful Prospect Park, from the F train, and within easy walk of dozens of great restaurants and shops.
Peter's apartment in Park Slope was simply perfect for my purposes. It couldn't be better located, right on Seventh Avenue and three blocks away from the F line, which leads to multiple connections through the various boroughs. There are excellent grocery stores within two blocks, and Prospect Park is only three blocks away.
The apartment itself is certainly ample for one person or for a fairly compatible couple -- it's a railroad apartment of cozy construction, but very typical for the area. There is a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom, along with wireless and Apple TV. It was certainly clean and well provided with heat. The kitchen is well supplied and more than adequate for creating simple meals.
In short, it's a little jewel of a place for someone like myself who was trying to do business and wanted more facilities than a hotel can provide.
Anyone unfamiliar with New York apartments might think it's very small, but the fact is that this is what New York apartments look like, and Peter maintains it beautifully. I will be very interested in trying to stay here again on my subsequent trips to New York.
Amazing Park Slope apartment. This apartment is in a great location-close to some great restaurant, shops and subway terminals. Pete, our host was great. Made me feel welcomed and available to answer any questions. I will returning to Park Slope and hope Pete will let us return to his place.
