  • We had a wonderful stay in Fabiano's great flat. He was very nice and helpful, reaching out to us several times to ask if we had any questions. He had left a booklet with some excellent suggestions of places to go eat in the area. We had some wonderful meals. The area is lively, has some great bars and restaurants all accessible by foot. A little away from the centre but regular trams to Termini mean it's feasible to visit the city in the day and come back to Pigneto in the evening. We loved our stay, and the flat has been decorated with much taste. A great experience, we'll come and stay here again on our next trip to Rome. Thanks Fabiano.

  • Great apartment. We stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd had longer to spend there! The apartment was beautiful exactly as in the photos with lots of interesting books and very well equipped for cooking. The garden was beautiful, we only wish we'd had more time to spend in it!

There are loads of small bars and restaurants around the flat, Necci bar around the corner was a great little place to drink and eat right on the doorstep. Overall a great stay thank you!

  • Really nice flat and surrounding ! We received really good advices and documentation to find our way through Rome. I would also recommend the Bar Necci which offers really great food both for dinner and brunch.

  • Awesome apartment. Fantastic location.... Great restaurants and bars in the area and easy on the tram to get into the centre of Rome. The host... What can I say... Fantastic!!

  • Fabiano was very helpful throughout the booking procedure and our stay. We really liked the flat, no complaints at all, would recommend. Pigneto was also a nice and lively area, we had some of the best food of our trip at the nearby restaurant Primo and we also liked H501 which is on a corner as you walk back to the apartment from the tram stop. Nice fresh produce market on via del pigneto too.

  • We loved Fabiano's apartment! It is comfortable, clean, safe, and in what we think is the best area in Rome. Fabiano is a wonderful host! Great to communicate with, and full of helpful advice and tips (particularly where to eat and drink in the area!). If you want to escape the hoards of tourists and stay where the locals live and eat where the locals eat, then this is the place for you. We were able to easily catch public transport into the city centre to explore all of the major sights, but found ourselves returning to Pigneto every night for dinner and drinks - it's a haven for foodies! It's full of young trendy and creative types, as well as a few interesting characters. We certainly wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome now (and we've stayed in the city centre several times before), and hope to return to Fabiano's apartment and Pigneto again! Thanks so much for having us Fabiano, we feel like we had a true 'Roman' experience!

  • Lovely, clean, artistic apartment. We stayed three nights and highly enjoyed the place. Not too loud at night, in a cute area with lots of cafes, restaurants and groceries. Kitchen is well equipped with day to day cooking necessities. Maps/information about Rome provided! Close to the bus/tram that takes you directly into Rome within 20-30 minutes. We walked from the apartment to the Colosseum and it took us 45 minutes (which we enjoyed!). Quick ride to/from Termini Station. Fabiano is very quick to respond and communicate if you have any questions or concerns. Hair dryer provided!! Thanks Fabiano!

    September 2013
  • We stayed at Fabiano's place earlier this month. The apartment is lovely - tastefully decorated and comfortable. The location was a little bit too far out for us. There were good bus/tram links to the town centre, however we would have preferred to be able to walk in and out.

If you are looking for an alternative area and aren't too bothered about being close to the main sites, then we would definitely recommend Fabiano's place!

  • The apartment is great. And we liked the location with all the bars and restaurants just around the corner. Communication with Fabiano was easy and quick! The information he provided on where to go and on how to move around the city was very perfect. We very much enjoyed the terrace for breakfast in the morning or a drink at night. We did not mind taking the tram into the city center and would definitely stay here again.
