Fabiano is a very helpful and kind host. His flat is as lovely as the pictures! I had a great time in Rome and Fabiano's flat without doubt!
Let me just say Fabiano himself is amazing! He was very helpful from the beginning of the booking until the end. Upon check in he had an abundant of information and maps at our disposal. It was so great to see all his and his past travelers advice on things to see and places to eat in the Pigneto area. Don't even bother eating any where else! The Pigneto area is very artsy, local, fun, and just far enough with out being too far to getaway from the madness of the touristy areas.
His apartment is so charming and feels like home; it looks better than the pictures. Me and my girlfriend did not want leave and enjoyed eating in the beautiful patio. The area is perfect & we walked almost everywhere. All the tourist attractions were just a simple walk or bus ride away.
Don't even bother looking any where else. I'd highly recommend Fabiano and his place. Do yourself a favor and just book it!
I liked Fabianos flat a lot. Amazing balcony, lovely furniture, modern & clean. Travelers without a car might need some patience to get into the center by public transport.
Fabiano is an excellent host: friendly, caring and genuinely interested in his guests enjoying their stay. The apartment is in the quiet side of Pigneto, just around the corner from Bar Necci. It has a wonderful covered terrace and garden space. The shower is the best I've had in Rome and the bed has a very comfortable memory foam mattress. Fast internet too. A comfortable space for hanging out and exploring the hipster area of Rome. Highly recommended.
Really great place, great kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room. Fully equipped kitched allowed us to cook from the best quality ingridients and eat directly on the sunny terrace. Around the house there are many favourite places to eat (which were also recommended by Anthony Bourdain for example) as: Necci, Betto E Mary, I Porchettoni, etc.
I stayed at Fabiano's for three nights and really enjoyed my time in his beautiful apartment. I was an hour late for check-in and Fabiano was very gracious about it. Even though I had little contact with him, I knew that if anything were to go wrong he would be available, which was important considering it was my first time in Italy and I was travelling alone. The apartment itself is lovely, beautifully decorated and really restful. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and also will recommend it to my friends if they are ever in Rome. Thanks again Fabiano!
Fabiano was a fabulous host. Our flight was delayed due to French air traffic control strikes, but he came to meet us at 2am outside the flat -- not something I'd imagine that he'll like to make a habit of, but nonetheless much appreciated! The flat itself was perfectly situated in a great, buzzy neighbourhood: full of bars, restaurants and coffee retreats, and a food market close by! About 20 minutes on the tram from the centre, and a welcome respite from spectacular but busy 30 degrees Rome! I highly recommend the apartment.
