From the host
This property is located in a historic area of St. Louis called Dogtown, made famous during the 1904 World's Fair.
There are many quaint restaurants and coffee shops in our neighborhood. The famous "Hill" neighborhood is also very close. It is known for its amazing & authentic Italian restaurants! We suggest you check it out! Shaw's Garden (Botanical Gardens), the zoo, History & Art museums, City Museum, Fox Theatre & downtown which has so much to do.... you have to visit the Arch!
Our newest attractions are the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station and the large Ferris wheel. There is so much to do in our beautiful city!
There are also plenty of places close by that offer a fun nightlife including clubs and bars in the Central West End, Washington Street downtown, The Grove & The Loop in University City.
Here, you can catch a Cardinal’s or Blue’s game (GO BLUES!). Or you can swing by Start Bar for some arcade games, and then head over to Wheelhouse next door for some dancing! And don’t forget Tropicana Lanes on Washington Avenue downtown for a fun game of bowling!
Saint Louis University, Washington University, Barnes & St. Louis Children’s hospitals are located within a few miles too. The St. Louis Zoo & Science Center, both of which have FREE admittance to guests, are also very close by.
