Elegant guest unit attached to main house with private entrance. Beautiful maple hardwood floors, luxury plush top queen bed with comforter. Studio unit with separate area for dining and desk. Italian marble bathroom with skylight. Newly remodeled and all amenities - cable TV, wireless internet, Netflix, Roku. This is truly a unique spot both in Sausalito (aka the Banana Belt) because it is warm. It is also within easy walking distance to most anything in town.

**Please note: Since the photo was taken, there is a 45" flat screen SONY tv mounted on the wall where the mirror is above the desk.

Mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and electric kettle. Also a new kitchen cart is installed.

Located within walking distance to the ferry to SF, shops and downtown Sausalito. Bike paths and kayaking within walking distance. Professionally cleaned every week for monthly rentals with change of linens and towels. Off street parking ample and available. Garden like setting with views.

This is a NON SMOKING guest unit. If guests wish to smoke, they can do so only on the front deck.

The guest unit does not have washer/dryer unit available. There is a laundry mat close by as well as several wash and fold facilities including dry cleaning businesses.

The guests will have access to the deck with views of Angel Island, Mt. Tamalpais and San Francisco Bay. If there already is a party on the deck, please ask permission to join or come back later for a solo deck experience.

I let the guest(s) set the tone and pace of interaction. I am happy to provide travel information, recommendations for great restaurants and other communication.

Yes, there is a ferry to SF within walking distance (about 10 minutes) and a bus line. All this information can be accessed online.

We were looking for a relaxing get away from SF city, and Elizabeth's Sausalito home was the perfect little retreat. Her house is conveniently located from downtown and the ferry dock (just a few mins walk away), and is perched at the top of a steep hill, giving way to a wonderful views of the water. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Elizabeth, who had also graciously prepared wine & snacks for us. Her house was warm, cozy & bright and we had such a wonderful stay overall :)

My wife and I stayed with Elizabeth in early October for four nights. We enjoyed every minute of our visit with the wonderful location, serene bay views,peaceful tranquility and the proximity to the charming village of Sausalito with its excellent collage of restaurants and inviting ambience. We thank Elizabeth for her warm hospitality, flowering gardens and her innate sense of aesthetics. With excited anticipation we await our next visit to her cherished hideaway. Keep the good work ...we will see you soon.

Elizabeth's place was great! She greeted us with a bottle of wine out on the deck and referred to great places to eat and what wineries to visit in Napa. We had a great view of the bay and it was quiet; even on the weekend. We left the windows open for a nice evening breeze and was not bothered by any noise during the night. Her location is perfect. We had easy access to downtown SF and Tiburon and the drive to Napa is a sight to see- we didn't turn the car radio on once.

The most magnificent view in Sausalito is from Elizabeth's front deck! I had an amazing time staying there. Elizabeth was really wonderful and extremely generous as a person.The room was spotless and the elegant touches, of fruit and wine made me feel really special. I loved it!

Location in Sausalito is great and getting to San Francisco by bus or ferry is easy. Unit is bright and comfortable although compact. Elizabeth was very welcoming and left us a bottle of wine. She was away most of our stay but it wasn't an issue.

Wonderful stay. Liz was very helpful with tips on food and sightseeing. The view of the bay from her deck is a sight to behold. She throws in a welcome bottle of wine and provides every amenity you'd find in a 4 star. Room even comes with a Fridge, Coffee Maker, Microwave and Toaster oven. Love that she has fast internet access and a big flat screen in the room. Even cooler is that she has a Roku box but why waste your time indoors when there's much to see and do in the North Bay. She has a pretty cool zen garden and 2 cute Lhasa Apsos if you need petting therapy and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Maybe being 2 blocks away from the police station helps. Parking on the street is very convenient. There's a significant flight of stairs leading to the main front gate so those with issues will want to get directions to an alternate entrance.
