We were looking for a relaxing get away from SF city, and Elizabeth's Sausalito home was the perfect little retreat. Her house is conveniently located from downtown and the ferry dock (just a few mins walk away), and is perched at the top of a steep hill, giving way to a wonderful views of the water. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Elizabeth, who had also graciously prepared wine & snacks for us. Her house was warm, cozy & bright and we had such a wonderful stay overall :)

My wife and I stayed with Elizabeth in early October for four nights. We enjoyed every minute of our visit with the wonderful location, serene bay views, peaceful tranquility and the proximity to the charming village of Sausalito with its excellent collage of restaurants and inviting ambience. We thank Elizabeth for her warm hospitality, flowering gardens and her innate sense of aesthetics. With excited anticipation we await our next visit to her cherished hideaway. Keep the good work ...we will see you soon.

Elizabeth's place was great! She greeted us with a bottle of wine out on the deck and referred to great places to eat and what wineries to visit in Napa. We had a great view of the bay and it was quiet; even on the weekend. We left the windows open for a nice evening breeze and was not bothered by any noise during the night. Her location is perfect. We had easy access to downtown SF and Tiburon and the drive to Napa is a sight to see- we didn't turn the car radio on once.

The most magnificent view in Sausalito is from Elizabeth's front deck! I had an amazing time staying there. Elizabeth was really wonderful and extremely generous as a person. The room was spotless and the elegant touches, of fruit and wine made me feel really special. I loved it!

Location in Sausalito is great and getting to San Francisco by bus or ferry is easy. Unit is bright and comfortable although compact. Elizabeth was very welcoming and left us a bottle of wine. She was away most of our stay but it wasn't an issue.

Wonderful stay. Liz was very helpful with tips on food and sightseeing. The view of the bay from her deck is a sight to behold. She throws in a welcome bottle of wine and provides every amenity you'd find in a 4 star. Room even comes with a Fridge, Coffee Maker, Microwave and Toaster oven. Love that she has fast internet access and a big flat screen in the room. Even cooler is that she has a Roku box but why waste your time indoors when there's much to see and do in the North Bay. She has a pretty cool zen garden and 2 cute Lhasa Apsos if you need petting therapy and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Maybe being 2 blocks away from the police station helps. Parking on the street is very convenient. There's a significant flight of stairs leading to the main front gate so those with issues will want to get directions to an alternate entrance.

It was a nice room and everything we had hoped for. Within walking distance of downtown and the ferry. We would stay here again.

I am a professional woman who enjoys hosting others here at my home in Sausalito.

I love to provide amenities in my guest unit as I know that these things help soften some of the stresses of traveling.

Three things I cannot live without include are wine, chocolate and coffee.

I am respectful of other people's privacy.
