Typically Parisian two-rooms apartment, three minutes from the Gambetta metro, in a quiet street surrounded by parks, between the vivid Ménilmontant area and Pere Lachaise cimetery!
Laptop friendly workspace

Check-in time is flexible
It is an ideal place for a few nights. There is no lift and four floors to climb. The flat is clean and tidy, but very small. There is a school directly across the street so there is no peace in the day time and we experienced noisey neighbours coming and going at all hours of th…
Response from Camille:
Thank you for your honest review. Here is my honest reply. It feels unfair and inaccurate to me to call my apartment very small. I suppose you are not from Paris or are unfamiliar with Big city Life but having a flat with a bedroom big enough to fit a queen size bed, a separate kitchen and bathroom and a living room in the middle of Paris cannot be called very small. I would also like to precise that the poor children across the street only play outside a couple of times a day during recess (and only four days a week) as they are, the rest of the day, in class. I do not think that children playing across the street a couple of times a day can be described as "there is no peace during the day" unless that description comes from rather difficult people. I did, as I am a very honest person, mention that there is no elevator in my building. So I believe you were aware of that before you decided to rent it. The very kind, and very close friend of mine did let me know that she tried to get from you an accurate time of arrival, at least 3 times, which she did not get. You then contacted her from the taxi at the last minute and she had to rush to my place to make sure she would not keep you waiting. I do not believe you are quite familiar with the concept of airbnb. It is my belief however that if you had wanted a bigger place to stay, a quieter place with an elevator you would have of course been charged at least 3 to 5 times what you have been charged at my place. It is also my belief that for the price you paid you could gave gotten a studio apartment in Paris in the noisiest Paris neighborhood and that the only reason you didn't is that honest, chill people like me rent their apartment in a friendly manner and not to make as much money as possible, which means that tourists can enjoy a 1 bedroom apartment in Paris, near Pere Lachaise and a queen size bed for, if you'll believe it, less that 50 Euros a night. Thankfully, except for you, my guests have been the loveliest, sweetest, most appreciative people so I will not let this one bad experience stop me from renting my place. And I will keep the prices as low as they are because I am cool like that. Take care
Camille is a fantastic host with a very stylish apartment. Aside from a bit of confusion regarding our check-in time, our stay was easy and enjoyable. Everything is very clean and tidy, kitchen is well equipped if you plan to cook. Bathroom is small but manageable, we had plenty …
I love my flat, I love Paris but I regularly feel the need to rest and breathe the air of the countryside.... My free-lance journalist status allows me to be free to leave and sublet my flat whenever I want, which means I keep my mind open about dates, although my calendar appear…
