I am leaving my room due to study abroad. My mom is left alone. To not let her to get bored I decided to rent out my room.
Tenants should be female. We want someone who will stay long term, but short stays are also possible.
There is a single bed and a sofa bed for 2 persons. I have lots of artistic stuff and piano in the room which you are always welcome to use. Also there is a PC
which you may use as well.
Our neighborhood is very quiet and relatively close to the city center. You can reach the downtown in 10 minutes by bus (the bus station is in 100 m) or by metro (the closest metro station is 7 min walk). The nearest shop is 50 meters away.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me. My mom is very hospitable and she will be happy to accommodate you.
Please do not smoke in the appartment
I had a lovely time staying at this home. Before my trip, Dilara was very helpful about answering my questions via email and helping me look up how to take the bus to Gobustan. When I arrived at the apartment, the host, Nasiba, was also very helpful. Although it was sometimes difficult to communicate, (website hidden) Translate was useful. Nasiba was very welcoming and often joined me for tea and snacks that she had prepared. She even took me to the bus station to make sure that I would find it without any problems. If I am ever in Baku again, I would gladly stay with Nasiba again. The apartment can be a little hard to find, so make sure you bring Nasiba's phone number in case you (or your taxi driver) can't find the right place.
My stay at Delya's place was fantastic. I felt welcome and looked-after. Delya's mum is a lovely person and the facilities at her home are exactly as described. I experienced true Azerbaijani hospitality - you will feel like at home here.
Delya's mum does not speak much English but is fluent in Russian so that was our main way of communication during my visit.
I received a lot of help from Delya with arranging my trip and getting the directions - I very much appreciate it and I wholeheartedly recommend this host to anyone.
It is a very clean and good place to stay with a fantastic lady to receive who was helping me in everything in all ways. The advertisement was clear and a guest could not expect more than received there, everything was perfect!!!! Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My time at Dilara's house was a wonderful experience. Her mother is so very kind and caring, and now I understand fully why Azerbaijan is known for its hospitality! Dilara was really helpful with making the arrangements, too, everything went smoothly. The apartment is very nice, it is quiet and located in a peaceful neighbourhood with a bus stop right in front of the building and two metro stations nearby. The whole stay was just great, and I am very grateful to both Dilara and her mother for the lovely time and hospitality.
Dilara's mother is a very kind and hospitable woman ,nice friend and a wonderful mother ..I espesially loved the location of house .,it is not far from the bus ,metro and train station .I really enjoyed meeting with Dilara and her lovely mother ,grandmother ,uncles ,aunt and cousins .I enjoyed the breakfasts and our talks during the evening tea sessions indeed .Thank you very much for your hospitality .
That was simply the best stay I've ever had so far! The accommodation was perfect, breakfast as well and the kindness to help in any circumstance was always there! Thanks so much again - I will definitely come back to this house at my next stay! :)
My sister and I stayed with Dilara's mother and brother for three days and were very touched by their hospitality. Almost all the time we were treated to tea accompanied by delicious home made jams, got plenty of recommendation for eating in town and had interesting conversations about Azerbaijan today. Dilara's family also helped us with a lost luggage at the airport, retrieving which took a few days and a great deal of phone calls. Their home is definitely a good pick for overpriced and insensitive hotel scene of Baku, especially if you are a single or independent traveller.
