This flat is perfect for having a self catered stay in a great location! It will sleep 3 adults very comfortably and 2 adults and 2 children perfectly.

Richmond town centre is a 5 minute commute (walk + bus), Twickenham Rugby ground is also in close proximity (with help of public transport). A commute into waterloo station will take 35 minutes door to door. Heathrow airport is 20 minutes by car / taxi (without traffic disruptions)
A short walk into Kew village via the neighbouring Sandycombe Road will lead you to a variety of restaurants and boutique shops plus an artisan cafe / deli and art gallery. Children will enjoy the park at the end of the street which provides great outdoor play space.
This flat used to be my home and I think it still has a homely feeling. There is some wear and tear around the edges, however the place is in good condition and nice decorative order. All of the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc are new, being replaced every few months.
If you are looking for something with more of a hotel feel, I would suggest a stay in some of the new build flats. My place should feel like your space and you should feel at home.
P.S There is unrestricted parking nearby (2 minute walk). The street the flat is on has restricted hours of 10am -12noon M-F. No parking is allowed during these hours for non-perm residents.

We do ask that if you have any questions or concerns you get in touch immediately. We are always happy to help!
Kew has a village feel yet it is still part of London. Richmond is one of the most beautiful towns in the world - with old charm and small pedestrian streets. The River Thames offers long paths for running, walking or just simple strolls to take in some fresh air. Kew & Richmond are safe, clean and offer a lot to see without only needing to get into Central London.
Public transport: Kew Gardens Station is only an 8 minute walk from the flat. Richmond Station is a 15minute walk or 3 minute bus ride.
Other Things to Note
Annual safety checks are conducted on the boiler and integrated appliances.
Smoking is permitted outside of the property.
You will need to wash and care for the linens provided during your stay.
Pets are welcome with a larger security deposit. Please ask.
Rachel was a brilliant host. Although we didn't get to meet her (as she was away) we felt like we had been personally greeted by her with the personal touches. Everything we needed was made available. She really has put thought into what holiday makers do require from a variations of tea, a dishwasher, towels, and even a tablet available with internet. She was very helpful and polite over email and was available for any enquiries we had. I would definitely return and stay in her apartment.
Rachel is a perfect host! Thanks again for everything Rachel! The Flat is really nice and I can absolutely recommend this good place!
My daughter and I spent 6 wonderful days at Rachel's place in Richmond. She is an extremely accommodating and concerned host - allowing early check in and late checkout.
The flat is very comfortable and easily accessible to public transport. Nice safe and quiet neighbourhood with a large Sainsbury at the end of the road.
Due to our busy schedule we did not meet Rachel, but spoke (messaged) every other day.
We'll be back again in 2015 for a couple of days!
Disappointing experience. The photos made the place look better than it was. Some previous reviews suggested it was a bit dirty and the bathroom was difficult. I would agree with this. Overall the place is in need of some care and cleaning.bed and sheets were ok. Wouldn't recommend staying more than a couple of nights.
Rachael's place was quite nice, had everything we needed. Bathroom was a little different but nothing that couldn't be overcome. We didn't actually meet Rachael but communication was great. Would stay again.
Rachel and her partner were very accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet them in person but they responded promptly to all communications and were very helpful.
Fun loving, easy going person who loves food and travelling. I am originally American but have lived in the Richmond / Kew area since 2003. My daughter goes to school locally and we have a wonderful cafe not too far from the flat.
Any questions about the area / London in general - feel free to ask me, even if you aren't going to stay at my property!
