Ok, On to the good stuff:
This beautiful 1930s Spanish-Mediterranean property is conveniently located in the quiet neighborhood of Mission Terrace. Just 2 short blocks up to Mission Street and Mission bus lines, 2 blocks down to the J-Church metro (which runs many historic street cars), is easily accessible to/from 101 and scenic 280 fwy and a 7 minute walk to Glen Park and Glen Park Bart Station. Glen Park is bursting with a diverse selection of critically acclaimed restaurants (Gialina Pizzeria, Chenery Park for California comfort food, Le P'tit Laurent French Bistro, Osha Thai, Taqueria La Corneta, among others), a cheese shop, Irish pub, gourmet grocery, bakery, coffee shops and Farmers Market on Sunday!
Our home was built in 1938 and has maintained all the original, unique details including colorful tile and porcelain bathtub and sink, wood burning fireplace, chandeliers, crown molding, hardwood floors and a beautiful built in sideboard under the original mural of Yosemite with historic significance. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, walk-in closet and bay windows. The second upstairs bedroom has a full-size bed with all new bedding and truly the most comfortable mattress you may ever sleep on. The third bedroom, downstairs, features a queen bed with all new bedding and there is a double futon that frankly isn't super comfortable, but there are plenty of pillows to pile on there as past guests have done. There is also a nice new flat screen for your viewing pleasure in there. Back upstairs there's a chef's kitchen with gourmet cookware and a fabulous vintage O'Keefe and Merritt range, breakfast nook and lovely central patio. Update: I just bought another flat screen (a 24" "smart" one that can be used to watch documentaries while you're cooking). There are skylights throughout so the house is always bright and cheery. The spacious living room features floor to ceiling windows, a wood-burning fireplace, TV with Netflix, PS3 and a computer with fax, scanner and printer. The dining room doubles as the library with seating for eight or more and makes a great office if you're here to work. There is a funky vibe with lots of art and antiques in keeping with the vintage charm. There is a sweet backyard garden with lots of seating and a charcoal BBQ you are welcome to use. The large basement has a washer and dryer, plenty of storage, and there is ample street parking as well as a space for you in the driveway.
Your host Danielle is a private chef and cooking instructor and will be available to teach cooking classes, provide meals or cater anything food related during your stay, should you be interested. She is also available to chauffeur you on local food themed and wine country tours, with seating up to 3 in her Mini Clubman. Danielle will usually be lodging nearby and can assist you with anything you may need to make sure your stay in the beautiful Mission Terrace goes smoothly. Please note there are two very shy cats in residence and Danielle will be by daily to feed them unless you desire to do so instead.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!

We had a lovely time while staying at Danielle's beautiful home! The house was perfect. Clean and tighty and very comfortable! She even supplied us with breakfast and coffee fixings! The house was super close to all types of public transportation which made traveling into the city very simple for us!
Danielle's house was perfect and Danielle was the perfect host!
Myself and my 2 brothers booked the place at the last minute and Danielle went out if her way to ensure we could stay there and that the place was spotlessly clean. It has everything you could possibly need and a real nice homely feel. Beautiful artwork everywhere too!
We were even given a pack of beers, done fruit, bagels and cheese to get us going, it really feels that Danielle thought of everything, we honestly could not fault the house or the host, nothing more we could have asked for!!
Thanks Danielle and hope to stay at your place again!!
We spent a great time in Danielle house. Even though she was away during our stay, she ask us regularly if we needed anything. But we didn't need anything because everything was ready for us she even made us a very good pie.
The house is beautiful and perfect for 6 peoples, we didn't get to enjoy the garden but it was inviting.
The neighbourhood is nice and it is very easy to access to the other area of SF (about 15min by car and 45min by bus to the financial district), glen park and its nice restaurant are 15min walk.
The bonus with this house is that you get to get two adorable cats.
Rent this house you won't disapointed.
Danielle as a host:
Danielle was very quick with responding to our e-mails. We were declined on the very last minute by another host and we were the 2nd party requesting to stay at her place and we got it! Danielle was very flexible & friendly person. Even our request for a possibility of a 5th person wasn't a problem. She also was so nice to pick us up at the Bart and filled the fridge with snacks and drinks :) Also during our stay she always answered our requests by mail and phone.
The accommodation was very spacious and clean in a safe environment. Also the 2 cats were very easy going. We really recommend Danielle as a host and to stay at her place with a big group.
It's a 10min walk to the Bart and you will get into the Financial district in 45min.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in Danielle's house. We met her and her son when we arrived, they were very nice, friendly and generous! The house was clean and pretty,we even didn't wanna go out because it was so comfortable!I Lol. Definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a wonderful trip in SF!
Nice house, nice location and Danielle was an amazing host ! All the ingredients were there for a very nice week in San Francisco :)
Danielle's place is so lovely. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area of SF, but not too far away from the central areas. The Bart station is only a short walk away. My family and I had the best time at her home. Thank you, Danielle.
Well we just have an amaizing time in Danielle´s house, it was just overall a perfect experience , San Francisco is just a great Place to be in, our stay was wonderfull in every way, Danielle, was a great host, was there to give us directions and supportive in every step, the House is indeed a beautifull home,so cozy and great decorated, we must say that danielle was so nice and caring, and making sure we were ok at any time, the house is in a great neibourhood, very close to several ways of transportation, for now on we will consider staying here in every trip we have to San Francisco, we strongly recomend it to any gest that are seeking for the best place to stay, truly represents what airbnb is ment to be. Thanks danielle for everything.
Danielle was a great hostess --- she welcomed us with her professional chef uniform when we arrived in the evening. Upon reservation, we asked her to prepare a dinner party for 8 of us, and she prepared table and California cuisine perfectly.
Traveling from Tokyo, Japan, it was our first AirBnB experience and her first whole-house renting experience. She prepared new towels and free wifi connection. For my friends, her beautiful house became the place to spend their first night in the US, and her delicious California cuisine became their first meal in the US. Anchor Steam at candle-lit sofa by fireplace,,, My friends will never forget the time at her place in their life!
