Our much-loved three-room apartment in the historic neighborhood of Boerum Hill (read about why it's so special in Airbnb's "Neighborhoods" section) offers you the perfect home-away-from-home, at a fraction of the cost of NYC hotels.
You'll be located amongst beautiful old houses, central to everything that's so great about Brooklyn while still being under 10mins from downtown Manhattan.
We rarely venture far from home because Boerum Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods offer so much: world-renowned restaurants (as well as many cheap eats), character-filled bars, boutique retail stores, food and flea markets, NBA stadium, and cafes. One block away is the F & G train which will take you straight to Manhattan or to hip Williamsburg. Two other lines are a five minute walk away.
Feel like exploring the streets on foot? The iconic Brooklyn waterfront, including the Brooklyn Bridge and artistic DUMBO, is a 15 minute walk away. In the other direction is Prospect Park. And before you come home for the day, we recommend you stop for a quiet drink at the borough’s oldest an best bar, the Brooklyn Inn, which is across the street (the wood bar was transplanted from Germany in the 1870s!).
Here's what our apartment offers:
-Large, heated and air-conditioned 3 room apartment with queen-sized Posturepedic bed, and a queen futon in the living room
-Private courtyard with a Weber BBQ and outdoor setting
-Full kitchen with gas stove and every possible utensil
-Broadband WiFi and cable TV
There is so much more to our home and Brooklyn that we’d love to share. Please come and see why we love it so much. Thank you!
Shane and his wife were great. They were very easy to meet up with and great about answering all my questions. Their apartment is a wonderful place to spend time in right in the heart of Brooklyn easily connected via train down the street into Manhattan (two stops away). Highly recommend this place to anyone coming into the city. Beats any hotel room I've booked in the city.
This was a great place in an awesome area for someone visiting NYC. The area was safe even for my Mother who is from a rural area. The apartment it's self was very accommodating for two people sleeping in separate beds with the use of the sleeper sofa. It was clean and functional. The back patio with grill was a definite plus! Not only would I recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC but, I want the apartment when they move out!
