The room is comfortable and the house is well equipped with all the essentials for your stay. It is conveniently located to many Denver attractions.
Enjoy this updated 1890's two bedroom, one bathroom duplex in the Jefferson Park neighborhood, which is in the heart of Denver. It is an easy walk to Mile High Stadium to watch your favorite football team, the Denver Aquarium, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery shopping, and other shopping. A neighborhood coffee shop is just one block away. Elitch Gardens and the Pepsi Center are also a stone's throw. The master bedroom, which is the room I rent out, has a queen bed. I stay in the second bedroom. Please note it is a shared bathroom situation. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook at home. Enjoy relaxing in the fenced backyard or walking to nearby Jefferson Park. The backyard has an outdoor table to enjoy your meals or morning coffee. Sloan's Lake Park is about 1 mile west. Enjoy hiking in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, which are just 30 minutes away by car. I have Wi-Fi, TV (no cable though), washer/dryer, and all the kitchen supplies you could need.
Having lived in Denver for the last 16 years, I would be available to tell you about all the great things to do in Denver and the nearby mountains. I have lived in this home for two years and have worked hard to make it a place I love. I hope you enjoy it!
Guests have access to the common areas of the house such as living room, kitchen, dining room, back and front (website hidden) (no cable) and internet are available. Please note, this is a two bedroom 880-foot square foot house and when I am in the house, we share the bathroom, living room, kitchen, etc. The room you rent is a nice size for one or two people.
Interaction with Guests
I interact with the guest as much as they want. I love getting to know the people that stay. If they want to be left to themselves, I respect that.
My neighborhood is pretty close to downtown and has easy access to I-25. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance (30 minutes or less). Less than a block away, new restaurants and shops are opening up and the neighborhood is becoming more vibrant. If you walk to the convention center, it would probably take about 40 minutes, driving is about 10 minutes
There are bus stops near by.

No smoking or drug use in the house.
In the Winter, heat should not be set higher than 72 degrees.
I have a welcome book in the house that provides more information.
I have a few personal things in the house. Please be respectful.
Leigh is a delightful hostess. She is warm, friendly, and flexible. Her home is comfortable and beautifully decorated with art from her own travels. She provided me with information about the area, and has created a welcome book listing restaurants in the area with descriptions of each. There is a coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches just around the corner, and a Safeway two blocks away, making it easy to get something to eat, or create a picnic for the day's outing. Leigh's neighborhood is quiet, and walkable to the 16th Street Mall bus that runs to the city's cultural attractions. I look forward to staying with Leigh when I next return to Denver.
Awesome! Exactly as described. Leigh was there to meet us, she was very helpful and friendly. Her home is clean, bright and adorable. Our room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. We will defiantly be back!
Leigh's house was perfect for what we needed in our short stay in Denver. It was clean, checking in/out was easy, and everything went well. The location is nice, close to restaurants, stores, etc, and felt safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Leigh's place for a nice Denver adventure.
Leigh'r house was very clean and really comfortable.
And the neighbor side was awesome. Great restaurant and pub around their.
I do really enjoy my trip over there
Leigh was a great hostess. Very professional and friendly. The place was beautiful, clean and fresh. Her kitchen is well layed out for cooking and she offered her amazing tomatoes from her garden. I enjoyed her cruiser bike along the river trail which is close by. I highly recommend both Leigh and her place.
Had a great time staying at the house. It was very clean and close to downtown and stadium. Leigh is a kind host who made sure we were comfortable at all times. Thank you for your hospitality!
This was my first Airbnb experience, and it was a good one! Leigh was quiet, efficient, but interesting to talk to. Her house was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The neighbourhood was slightly run down but appeared safe. Her house is walking distance to a nice park, aquarium, football stadium, huge 14th St. Shopping district, and three outdoor clothing and equipment stores. Leigh was gracious with sharing some of her food/cooking resources. A nice cosy place to kick back and relax

I am orginally from Oklahoma but moved to Denver after attending college at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I love traveling the world and exploring the beautiful state I live in. I have made Denver my home but love to go into the mountains as often as possible. I enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, and being outdoors. I also love exploring Denver's great restaurants and bookstores. I am a total animal lover and always try to help an animal in need. I like to volunteer when I travel if time and resources allow.
