You'll feel just like a NY'er in our bright & sunny top floor apt. With two private bedrooms and lots of windows, its perfectly cozy. Right below, the city is bustling with food, shopping and entertainment. We love our apartment and hope you will too

The Space

A sunny two bedroom (email hidden)ly neighborhood that's full of culture, nightlife and convenience. Dine and shop with locals, or get quick access to other neighborhoods via the nearby subway. Don't let the walk-up discourage you, because once upstairs you will get a cozy & private NYC experience.

Welcome to New York! We hope you enjoy staying in our sunny, two-bedroom apartment on Ludlow Street. Please feel free to ask questions about your stay at any point.

This walk-up apartment is in the heart of the Lower East Side, a historical yet trendy area of NY. Located one block from the F, J, M and Z trains, you will have easy and quick access to any places in Manhattan or the other boroughs. The apartment is surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, and nightlife. Walking distance from Chinatown and St. Marks Place, you are centrally located to explore the best of New York. On the weekends, Ludlow St. is full of nightlife culture.

The apartment is on the 6th floor of a walk-up, so expect a mini-workout when you arrive. But once you get inside the cozy apartment, you will forget about the walk and relax in your time there. The apartment is full of house plants and windows, making it quite comfortable.

You will have access to the entire apartment, so this is perfect for a group of friends traveling together or a family. The main bedroom has two windows, with direct sunlight all morning. On the weekends, this room can be noisy from nightclub goers below, but unfortunately this is characteristic of the neighborhood. The second room is quieter, with a bed and nightstand. There is a full, mirror, dresser and coffee table. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and windows.

The kitchen is small but efficient. You have access to a coffee maker, pots & pans, as well as some plates, etc. But we think you'll spend more time enjoying the food in the neighborhood rather than preparing food at home. Once we receive your booking, we'll send you a list of our favorite places to eat in the neighborhood, to fit your mood at anytime!

What your booking includes:
2 separate bedrooms with beds. Clean sheets and towels. Coffee are wireless internet.

Guest Access

Confirmed guests have entire use of the apartment and can enjoy privacy in two private bedrooms. Fresh bedding and towels are provided for up to four people. There is a basic kitchen and several options for eating out or ordering in. Feel free to call Anastacia during your stay for any questions or comments

The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood in the Lower East Side has so much to offer! One of our favorite features is the variety of dining options. We are happy to share our favorite restaurants, healthy fast food, and unique treats with you. You can find culture, shopping and nightlife steps from our doorstep. Another amazing feature is proximity to the subway, which is a block away and can take you anywhere in Manhattan or the other boroughs. It's also in a great spot for walking excursions to Chinatown, Little Italy, SOHO, West Village, and Williamsburg. Enjoy the excitement and adventure of our flourishing neighborhood

Getting around

The favorite method is transportation for New Yorkers is walking, so bring your comfortable shoes! But we also have a great subway station just a block away, and it's trains are fast and convenient. If you'd like to drive, the municipal lot directly across from the building is the best option for convenience and price. There is street parking, but the signs can be confusing and hard to follow. So if you can, leave the car at home and enjoy the streets of New York like a local: by foot, subway or taxi.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The Appartment was great. Big enough for 3 people, in the perfect location at Lower East side, a half an hour walk away from Williamsburg and the 5th Avenue. Great places to eat nearby, many supermarkets, Starbucks with jazz music.
Everything worked fine (checking in, checking out, neibors etc).
The Appartment was really warm, sometimes so much that we had to open the windows.
On the weekend it got a bit noisy downstairs, but this didn't bother our sleep. When u re doing city traveling and especially in NYC you need to be able to sleep well and we did. The beds (two big ones- big enough for 4 persons) were really comfortable.
Mae enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it if you re looking for a true Appartment in Manhattan which is also affordable:)

  • Just home after an amazing week in NYC. Anastacia & Trevor's apartment was great, the location was perfect (email hidden)ly area with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The subway stop just around the corner was so handy as we could get to anywhere easily. The apartment itself was lovely, really cosy and clean as promised. The street below was a bit noisy and my fitness levels were tested by the flights of stairs but having met some true New Yorkers I believe that this was the true NY experience! Had a great time and would recommend this apartment to anyone young and energetic.

  • The apartment was well-suited to our needs and desired location. It was clean and I loved the sunshine that came in through the front windows. The bed in the larger room was soft and cozy with great pillows. I don't mind noise when sleeping so the sounds of the city weren't a problem for us. The shower was a bit hard to manoeuvre at first but it will definitely get hot! Check in and check out were simple. I would recommend this place for two couples or some friends visiting for a fun weekend!

  • Very central appartement in a really nice area. Perfect for a short stay in NY City.

  • Our stay at Anastacia's place was great. the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy, and the apartment is located in an happening area. The biggest downside was the six floors we had to climb, however, we knew what we signed up for when we rented the place, and a little exercise never hurts anyone :)
We were greeted by Anastacia's friend who gave us the "grand tour" in the apartment, gave us two sets of keys and even helped us with our bags up the steps. Anastacia was accommodating by letting us leave our luggage at the place until 2pm.
    I would stay there again.

  • The appartment was great and well located. Subway 5 minutes for walking and all you need right there. Of course you can hear the street of 1 room but we are used to it and it is not to bad.
My only recommendation to the helpful host is just to give more space for the clothes. You have to live out of your suitcase for your stay. Anyway our trip was great to NY!

  • If you want to stay in a vivid and central place - Anastacia's apartment is just perfect. The flat is spacious, the rooms are nice (The room to the street is just beautiful - yes, you hear the street, but that's NY, isn't it? We didn't need the offered earplugs. The other room is smaller, but more quiet). All in all, you can pretend to be a New Yorker ;) . Yes, you have to step up to the 6th floor and there are about 15 flats in the building- but you're staying in one of the liveliest areas of NY, the Lower East Side, with cafés, bars, restaurants frequented by young people of all nationalities. The Metro is just around the corner, as well as supermarkets and deli's - and Anastacia is so helpful! Definitely and strongly recommended as a good basis to get to know New York.

  • Anastacia is an helpfull host. The apartament is in a grat area and the subway station is really behind the corner. The house is very basic: we've found inside only one pot, so we had happily "donated" another saucepan to Anastacia's apartment and for other future guests. Probabily if i'd give a suggestion to the host....i can reccomand them to empty guardrobe, dresser and the shelf in the kitchen to give the opportunity to their future guests to organize better their clothes or others things (for example groceries in the kitchen) and don't use their suitcases. Anyway our trip was wonderfull in nyc!

  • The apartment was great. Very well located close to the a subway station, it is also only a short walk from Chinatown and Little Italy. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The street below can get noisy on weekends, which meant we had to move to the interior bedroom. But on weekdays it's fine. The place is great if you are looking for a place to sleep and little more. There is no sofa and the kitchen area is a bit small if you want to entertain and have people over for dinner. So it's not ideal for spending your hours there. Hoewver, you're in New York, why would you want to spend your time in the apartment! All in all, we would repeat the place.

Hello everyone! Trevor and I moved to our Fisherman's Wharf studio in November, and we plan to rent it out when we travel. We moved out here because Trevor's company did; we are originally from the tri-state area (NYC-NJ-PA... not CT as typically mis-construed). We put a bed in our van, packed up our cats, and made our way west-ward. Yesterday, we got back from our Vegas wedding (dubbed (website hidden)), and honeymoon in Costa Rica. Now that we are a bit settled, we plan to get out and explore the West Coast whenever possible. It'd be great to make a little extra money when that happens. I have about a year's experience renting Trevor's NYC apartment on Airbnb (he left for CA before I did) and am looking forward to being a host in San Francisco as well. We are thrilled with our new home here and would love to share it while we travel.
