Imagine to have your own little house in a backyard of a typical french apartment building from 1800.

It has lots of art objects brought back from our journeys for a cosy, intimate & unique feeling!

The bedroom and the living room are open-plan.
I provide bed linens, blankets and pillows.

KITCHEN
The 4,5m2 kitchen is equipped with: an oven, an induction a cooker, an extractor hood, a mircrowave, a dishwasher, a fridge, a coffee maker, an orange juice maker, a toaster, a kettle, all kitchen utensils, a built-in wall closet, built-in shelves, a tiled floor.

The 3,5m2 bathroom is equipped with: a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. I provide you towels.

  • The estance in Laurent's apartment was great! the appartment is exactly as it looks in the photos; its very centric allowing you to discover Paris either by foot or by metro as there are several stations around his place. I reccomend to stay in his appartment, he was very kind, with a good communication all time via email/phone.

  • Perfect location if you want to be in a neighborhood with small shops and cafes. No traffic to contend with. Short walk to Luxembourg, St. Sulpice, ctc. A fairly long passageway back to the courtyard but we grew to like the charm of that part too. Host was attentive to our needs and welcoming. The apartment is larger than usual Paris size. Small kitchen and petite bathroom but he is remodeling we understand. Quiet and comfortable, with class all around. Very friendly neighbors and their cat. Good room for 2, would be a bit tight for 4 but 3 would work. Would definitely stay there again next time in Paris. Excellent value.

  • The apartment was lovely, bright and spacious. The decor was very interesting and the kitchen was fully equipped. The area it is situated in Rue de Cherche Midi is a very quite street and one feels very safe there. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting Paris. Patricia

  • We have just had a perfect holiday in Blaise's lovely apartment. He is a charming host, intelligent and cultured, with excellent English. The flat is amazingly quiet, very comfortable and well appointed, and it is wonderfully situated. Our Parisian friends who visited us there were hugely impressed, and will be recommending it to other visitors. My only regret is that Blaise was going away on holiday on the day we left so I didn't get to hear him and my sister play a duet on the grand piano.

  • It was lovely to meet Blaise - who did a splendid job of being my first ever host on airbnb - and to stay in his superbly located, tranquil studio that opens on to a (sunny) little courtyard. Ken and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Paris and would certainly love to pass this way again! Can definitely recommend.

  • Excellent location. Practical studio with accommodating amenities, covering the fundamentals. Tranquil and nesty little harem. Blaise is charming, ever so welcoming -refined delicacies from local gourmet boutiques upon your arrival, along with Blaise at his best, playing some virtuous piano for you! He was flexible with last minute changes, and available with any inquiry. An ideal pied-a-terre for Padam. We`ll be back!

  • The place was lovely. Exactly as portrayed as in the pictures and freshly cleaned. Perfect location--close to multiple metro stations as well as within walking distance of many sights. Blaise was great, extremely helpful over email, and actually stopped by when I wasn't there just to fix a broken lightbulb. I would absolutely stay there again.

  • Great place, great location, great host. Visiting Blaise is like visiting a friend, even if you've never met. Do follow his tips on Paris; he's a native with an eye for the things that matter.

  • Staying at Blaise's home was absolutely the best for us on our short time in Paris. It is beautiful, relaxing, and has everything you could need. We loved the location as well. Most of all, Blaise was an amazing host - friendly, caring, and informative. The neighborhood has so much within walking distance, and very easy to get to metro stops. We chose to take advantage of our proximity to Le Grande Epicerie so we could picnic during the day and eat quiet meals at home in the evenings - why eat out when there's such a sweet apartment waiting for you!

  • Everything written before about this lovely place and charming host is true. My husband and I were scheduled for a late arrival and Blaise easily told us it would not be a problem for him. However, when we arrived at the airport our late evening flight was delayed for yet another 2 hours. I called Blaise to let him know and he was so kind, wishing us a good trip and thanking me for the call. When we finally arrived at was almost midnight, Blaise received us with a kind smile, lovely clean apartment, some chocolates, fresh bottled water in the fridge, and he performed for us a most enchanting Mozart mini private concert. We also chatted about modern French philosophers. Needless to say, it was a real pleasure to meet Blaise. The studio itself is a gem, charmingly French, clean and comfortable (great bed!). Right outside the building gate is the most lively and fun neighborhood of Paris, buzzing with cafés, boutiques, restaurants, book shops, grocery shops, many Metro and Bus lines. Inside a calm, quiet resting spot. It is sunlit during the day and can get nice and dark for excellent rest at night. WIFI worked perfectly. Also, we were there during some very hot summer days. Air-conditioning is not a common thing in Paris and most apartments can become really hot. Blaise's studio was always cool and fresh, probably due the ground floor setting and to the plant filled courtyard (which also created a great window view and an "in-the-country" like sensation. I think I've said enough and you can get the picture: it's really great and Blaise has all the qualities of a great host: he is kind, quick to respond, accommodating, punctual, dependable and just so charming and you can tell he really goes all out to make it a wonderful experience for his guests. Looking forward to next time! Merci, Blaise!!!
