What a great house. The location is great for Highland attractions. Plenty of room and great views. You will have a hard time finding a better place to stay. The owners are very helpful too.
staying at Laura's house was amazing. There is so much to do. Beautiful garden and huge house with many rooms and bathrooms perfect for larger groups. We had great fun, thank you.
Stayed at Coul Beag House with a few mates for a weekend away.
Laura managed to get us in last minute (as a previous booking cancelled a fortnight before we were due)
Both Laura and her Husband, Gordon, were excellent hosts. Gordon was at the house when we arrived, showed us around and made us feel very welcome.
The house itself was great, very clean and well looked after. The garden is massive, and the trampoline was a bonus. Lovely views from the front of the house.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return if we find ourselves in the highlands again.
As a side note, the Higlands is an incredible place. We went on a drive up to Thurso, across to Durness, down to Ullapool and back to the house. My mind was blown at the sights we saw and the roads we drove.
Laura and Gordon gave us a very warm welcome and ensure us have the best stay. They gave good direction and we were able to make it promptly. My mom fall in love with the house we were staying. Thanks you so much for this lovely house. We felt regret for not staying longer. We sure to come back when we have another long holidays
Coul Beag was by far my family's favorite place we stayed during our trip to Scotland - the grounds are beautiful, the house itself large, comfortable, warm and homey, and Laura was friendly, responsive, and very helpful. My Mom told me one of her favorite parts of the entire trip was sitting on the enclosed front patio with a home-cooked meal and looking out on the beautiful view of the highland fields. The location is remote enough that you can feel the peacefulness of the landscape, but close enough to Inverness that it's an excellent "home base" for exploring the Highlands. My Dad was talking about returning before we left. Book it!
Great location to explore some sites in the Highlands. The house was amazing, everything we could have wanted for our trip to the Highlands! The host was very friendly and communicative. Couldn't have asked for a better place to base ourselves for our Highlands trip. Would definitely return!
Three-day staying in the house mostly in the evening brought us a memorable experience. Everything was perfectly cleaned and well prepared when we entered the property. The cabin in the back yard is really nice for dining and chatting. Laura and Gordon are very kind and friendly couple and we really appreciate their hosting.
The only weakness is the location of the house wasn't that easy to find. It costs us 1 hour to look for.
