Had great time. House lovely comfortable venue for our family get together. Super big table for meals, and well equipped kitchen to prepare them in. Thanks again.
The view from Coul Beag is amazing. It's a wonderful home and stocked full of everything one could need. By far our kids favorite location yet with a big yard they enjoyed exploring. Everything about the home is well thought out and clean. The owners were attentive and helpful and we recommend both the home and them wholeheartedly.
The house is as nice as shown in the pictures. Our host Laura welcomed us, gave us all information we needed. Everything was perfect for a great time in the highlands. The children had a lot of fun playing in the garden and jumping on the trampolin. The coul beag offers all the things you need in an holiday house.
We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Coul Baeg. Laura and Gordon are so accommodating, helpful and available to you should you need anything. We stayed for our wedding and were blown away by the amazing house full of any and all amenities that you'll need, and the stunning views and huge backyard for entertaining. All of those who stayed with us were in awe of their experience here. We hope to come back here many times in the future. You will not be disappointed and this home is a must-stay!!
" This rental is one of the best rentals my family has stayed in throughout our travels. The combination of the home itself and its warm and helpful owners puts you at ease in the beautiful hills of Scotland. The home has a foundation of stone, with the same architecture by code as other older Scottish Highland homes, yet the inside is rebuilt with state of the art resources for travelers. Laura and Gordon are so helpful with any questions we had, including good hiking destinations, how to use the appliances, and even going so far as to have fresh flowers and food for our next-day breakfast awaiting us. The home is redone with beautiful tile and modern appliances in the kitchen and bathrooms, an old-fashioned wood stove and gorgeous large Scottish wood table in the kitchen, and of course all of the amenities such as washer and dryer that make life easier. There are five good-sized bedrooms with quality linens and three bathrooms, giving groups of people the kind of privacy that makes for a nice sharing of a home. There is so much to do in the area that a week's stay barely scratches the surface, but we would return here in a heartbeat. Our thanks to the Christies for their unusual commitment to their renters."
We were delighted with house and hosts. Couldn't have been better. Lovely warm comfortable home with superb views. Would thoroughly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at Coul Beag and Laura and her husband could not have been more friendly and helpful. We booked the house for the period over the Christmas holidays and although the weather was wet, windy and wintery the house was very cozy and a great base for exploring the surrounding Highlands.
Big plus was also the location which was rural and private but within minutes drive of Dingwall and slightly further to the city of Inverness.
There were also some lovely small touches like a Christmas tree and decorations to make it feel festive.
I would happily recommend the house to anyone looking for a large house in the highlands and would love to visit again in summer!
