About this listing

To watch out of the living room window is like being in a movie theatre. The apartment is situated at the liveliest canal of Amsterdam, the Prinsengracht and the typically Dutch neighborhood, the Jordaan.

Interaction with Guests

I will be living at the apartment myself but I do travel a lot. Guests can always contact me if they have any questions or concerns and I am more than happy to make dinner reservations or other phone calls for them.

The Neighborhood

This apartment is probably on one of the best locations of Amsterdam. The apartment is in the center; the front faces one of Amsterdam's four main canals (Prinsengracht). This makes for a beautiful view and lots of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. The backside of the apartment is in the Jordaan, a typical Dutch and lively neighborhood.

Getting Around

I would strongly recommend to get around by foot. Almost all tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Another option would be to rent a bike. You can look up several bike rentals on Google Maps, otherwise I am more than willing to rent you one out.
Public Transport costs €2,60 per ticket and is not very fast. The closest stop is a 7-minute walk. The last normal tram/bus goes at 00:30, afterwards there are night buses that don't go as often and are more expensive.
Uber is always a good option of course and much cheaper than regular taxis.

House Rules

Please make yourself feel at home. It is very important to respect the neighbors, which means no noise between 23:00 and 8:00, smoking is only allowed on the balcony, it is not allowed to smoke weed due to the smell, and to keep the hallway empty and clean (it is not allowed to park bikes in the hallway or to leave garbage bags there).
