The Ranch House 406 sits at the edge of a 50-acre pasture on a working ranch. Relax among rolling hills, spacious property and spectacular views of Montana's amazing wildlife. The large newly remodeled kitchen boasts brand new professional Thor kitchen appliances and the living room has vaulted ceilings, large windows overlooking the pasture and has an electric wood-burning stove. If grilling is your thing, fire up the stainless steel Nexgrill and enjoy the views and serenity of Big Sky Country.
The space
Enjoy a short hike from the house to access Bridger Creek which runs through the property or hike to the top of the property and enjoy spectacular views of the Crazy Mountains, Beartooth Mountains and the Yellowstone River. Just minutes from BLM, national forest and Yellowstone River fishing access, 1.5 hours from the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park and only 15 minutes from the quaint town of Big Timber, this property has everything families, hikers, hunters, anglers, cattlemen and rodeo goers could want. This roomy ranch house has high-speed Internet (WiFi), a Bose Speaker for music, a large flat-screen TV, board games and kid DVDs to make rainy days or family time enjoyable. Situated on one private fenced acre with a tire swing for the kids, the adults may also enjoy an additional 350 private acres on which to explore. This property really does have it all. The property can accommodate horse and stock trailers, or RV for an additional fee (two partial hook-ups available, no sewer). Cattle and horses can graze, roam and be worked in the round pen with reservations and an additional fee.
Guest access
The entire home with the exception of the garage.
Other things to note
-- THE RANCH --
DEER: They love your front yard. And your back yard. If you arrive in the evening or early morning, they will likely be in the yard. They are fun to look at and not a threat. Enjoy the view and try not to run them over.
COWS: Cows may “holler” at you in the morning. Sorry, they tend to be early risers! They aren’t always pastured behind the Ranch House 406, but it’s enough that you’ll probably see, AND hear them!
CATS: There are cats at the barn. They likely won’t visit you at the Ranch House, but they may. Just be grateful they are here because you don’t have to worry about mice (or most snakes)!
BUGS: There are bugs, gnats, moths, etc. It’s a ranch and there is nothing we can do about it. We do have pest control, but trust me, the pests kind of do what they want here in Montana!
