It is wonderful to stay at Margaret's place. The house is nice and comfortable. Margaret prepared for us great and healthy breakfast, and also she recommended many great places and things to do to us. We are very satisfied with this stay.
Lady Margaret is very amiable and warm, she is always ready to give her helps whenever in need. She likes to give useful advices for your touring and make your tour fruitful. We feel quite at home during our stay. The location is quite good and 5 minutes walk will take you to
the station. On the whole, Lady Margaret is a very good host.
I felt very welcome at Margaret's and she was most helpful finding my way to my workshop space ("Footprint", a local, green National Trust conference space). The room was warm and spacious and bang in the middle of town, near shops, cafe's and restaurants. It was lovely to be able to have a big, comfy bath too. Breakfast was cereal with fresh fruit, toast and jam, and orange juice. Many thanks Margaret!
Margaret is super nice. She recommended me very beautiful footpath and many useful information. The house is very lovely very beautiful. The location is very convenient only five minutes to the train station. The breakfast is also very good. Really recommend.
Margaret is a most friendly, easy and hospitable host. Our room and bathroom were both very charming and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. Us being comfortable was very important to Margaret. The position of Margaret's home being in the Main Street is excellent. She was very helpful by sharing local knowledge, giving us a lift to our car. Loved meeting her friend Celia and seeing their efforts with traditional rug making. Thanks Margaret!
Margaret was an ideal host, helpful, accommodating, easy to talk to and very charming. Her home was more beautiful than I ever expected and very clean and, and her breakfast was delicious. It was very close to the train station, right in the town center near many restaurants and cafes. It was a good starting point for a walk to the lake, to which there were a few different paths (all very beautiful). I definitely recommend her home to anyone visiting Windermere.
