Marta and Nick were wonderful hosts. The cabins were clean and warm perfect for a rustic overnight stay. Breakfast was great. Thanks again!

I had a great time in Gort and an even more pleasant stay at Marta's place. I was welcomed warmly and made sure I had everything I need. The family was friendly and accommodating. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious enough although be mindful about not hitting your head if you're sleeping on the lower bunk bed. For an extra $5, the breakfast was quite abundant and so appreciated. The location was also close enough to access the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Kinvarra and Killarney. The neighborhood felt safe and it was quiet and restful at night. If you are up for something different and with a minimal and rustic feel, this is the place to be.

What a pleasant experience! Being a gardener himself, I knew my partner would absolutely love Marta and Nic's place and it was lovely to surprise him! The cottage was more than enough space for the two of us; it was clean and quiet and the grounds were lovely! Nic was a lovely host.

An Tionol Cottage is the perfect getaway whether you're going on your own or with your family, great hosts and company, country surrounding and very close to many scenic landmarks in Galway. Marta is a lovely host and I felt very welcome and like at home. Will definitely go back!

My stay at Nick & Martas was wonderful! My first Airbnb experience, and i couldn't have asked for anything better. I was always welcome in their home, and was even invited to Marta's birthday party that happened to be the same weekend i was there. When convenient she aslo let me hitch a ride with her if we were going in the same direction. Fresh homemade breakfast every morning was a nice thing to wake up to and the forrest surrounding the area are worth a walk through. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, and sweet family to stay with on this coast of Ireland.

What a great place to stay! The cottage and bunkhouses are nestled in the calm and peaceful Irish countryside with no noise but the gentle mooing of the neighbours cows. Marta and Nick and their kids made us feel very welcome during our two-day stay. The bunkhouse was large and warm with plenty of room to spread out. We paid the extra E5 for the breakfast and it was totally worth it! fresh fruits, homemade preserves, coffee, bread, yoghurt, etc, etc. Well worth spending a few nights here!

It was really great staying in this cottage. The wooden cabins are very cozy and directly next to the main cottage, where this great breaktfast is served. It was one of the best we had in a long time! If you like to stay in a tranquil place in the middle of nature but also not too far away from the next town, this is your place to be.

Nick and Marta are a couple from Spain and ireland. We have two children and live in a small organic farm. We are interested in education and in creativity always finding ways of self expression and personal development, and creating sustainability organically, and at our own rythm.
We are very easy going and we both are interested in sharing spaces and learning from each other. We like life music and sometimes we offer live music sessions at our cottage.
