Communication with Vincent was prompt, responsive and easy.
Without prior notice, Vincent upgraded us to another home in the area. So, although this comment is posted for the home pictured above, we actually stayed in another home on Meridian Oak Lane. The home was great for our family of 7 with 4 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, full washer and dryer. The house was relatively clean, although prior tenants or users probably had pets as we did find pet hair in the creases of the couch. The house is in an upscale subdivision so it is safe, quiet and welcoming. The property is also well located with easy acess to I35, downtown Austin and the airport.
The first day and 85% of the 2nd day we were there, we did not have hot water or enough water pressure to take a shower. To his credit, Vincent got a plumber there early the next morning and they worked together for 10+ hours to fix the problem. Vincent refunded our 1st night charge although I thought 2 nights should have been refunded. Airbnb agreed to provide a voucher for 1 night charge for our inconvenience so that worked out okay.
All in all, we would stay in the property again. We liked the house and its location.
Vincent was awesome. I rented a house for guest to stay at the wedding. He communicated quick, always returned calls or messages within a few hours. When i needed to extend the stay, he was happy to help.
The house was clean, pretty, and just all around awesome. This was 100x better than any hotel. He was awesome.
Guido was a great host! He replied to my emails in less than 30 minutes. I had a great experience in Austin and the house topped it off! The house had a great "homey" vibe. It is relatively close to the freeway, so the drive from downtown to the house isn't tedious at all.
We were a group of seven for ACL weekend and we had a great time. The house is quite big, four rooms, lots of space and very clean. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with shops nearby. Host was very responsive every time we needed it. It takes around 15mins to get to downtown so you need a car or cab to get around.
Location: This house was convenient to the highway (35) and in a cute, safe neighborhood. There's a pretty good HEB grocery store within two miles, along with a target and several other places if you need it.
House: Very cute house, clean, the room sizes were great, everyone had a good-sized bed, with enough bathrooms to get ready in the morning. The kitchen and living area were very spacious with all the accommodations you would need (internet, cable, all kitchen appliances, etc).
I would recommend this place to anyone, though do plan on getting a car if you're trying to do a lot of stuff in Austin, as you're several miles out of town.
Guido is also great, very easily accesible and stopped by to say hello (with some fruit and wine!) and also swung in to take out the trash etc. Very nice!
We stayed here for a month while on business. Guido was very accommodating to our needs. If we needed anything at all he was more than happy to help us out. The place was wonderful. It had absolutely everything you would need when staying out of town. It was a very short drive to downtown without any heavy traffic. It was a short distance to any shopping or dining without having to sit in traffic. If we are ever in need of a big place for an extended period of time we would definately check with Guido first!

About the Host, Vincent
I was born in beautiful Southern Italy but lived most of my life in New York. I am perfectly literate in both languages and enjoy cooking and fine vintage wines. I have owned several restaurants in NY and Florida. I have lived in Austin for the last ten years and have invested in real estate. You will enjoy Austin, a city with many cultural attractions, great music and Universities.
I live both in Austin, Texas and White Plains, N.Y. and although I enjoy both placed for different reasons, I spend my summers in New York State and enjoy my winters in the warm climate of Texas.
