Food!!! -You will be steps away from Fresh Pot Coffee, Prost, a fantastic pod of food carts, Por Que No, Gravy, Tasty and Sons, HUB Beerworks, Interurban and more!

Music- One of Portland’s best music venues, Mississippi Studios, is close by (don’t worry, you can’t hear the music from the apartment, it’s not THAT close)

Public Transportation: The Max yellow line is a 10 minute walk away- hop on to get downtown or to and from the airport, #4 bus stop is across the street

**NOTE: The house is near one of Portland's best Bourbon bars/restaurants. It's mellow most nights, but gets lively on Friday and Saturday. The patio closes down at 11pm on weekdays and 12am on weekends, at which time it gets quiet. So, if you are sensitive to a bit of noise or go to bed early, you might want to select a different location. You can see the patio in the pictures of the garden above.

  • Very comfortable, well appointed apartment with and AMAZING location. We had a wonderful time, Molly was very accommodating to our schedule and her home is so cozy and inviting - perfect weekend.

  • We had a delightful stay at Molly's apartment. We loved the surrounding area: N MIssissippi Ave is really cool, with lots of great restaurants and fantastic little shops. And we very much appreciated the Stumpton coffee beans that Molly left for us... such good coffee, and always much needed in the morning! The booking went well, Molly was super friendly and easy to reach (which was especially useful when our train was delayed several hours getting there). We would happily recommend this spot to anyone!

  • Our stay at Molly's was great! The place is super cute and very clean--Molly even left us local coffee to help get our mornings started! Being on Mississippi Ave. made for a very comfortable jumping off point for exploring Portland :)

    Thanks again Molly!

  • I couldn't ask for a better host! The apartment was clean and Molly was very responsive. Thank you!

  • Though she wasn't in town at the time of our stay, Molly was very communicative and helpful with setting expectations and providing recommendations for places to eat and drink while in town. This was my first experience with AirBnB and I hope Molly is an example of what I can expect from my future hosts.
The apartment itself was very clean, sunny and comfortable. Even during hot days of July, the numerous windows kept the apartment fairly cool during the day. The area is fairly noisey with crowds emptying onto the street at 2am and dump trucks loudly collecting all the empty bottles from dumpsters around 6am. This made it somewhat difficult to sleep, as did the very soft mattress (those who prefer firm beds, beware!).
Overall our experience here was very good and I would recommend Molly's place to anyone who won't be bothered by the 2am crowds and soft mattress.

  • Had a great time staying here for a weekend. Didn't spent a ton of time in the room but everything was clean and comfortable. Media setup was nice to have too. One of the best neighbourhoods in Portland, and this place was right on the main strip.

  • A BIG thank you to Molly!! The place was awesome! -clean, bright, a comfy bed, everything you would need. The location was fabulous - within walking distance to shops & restaurants & the best - Stumptown coffee!! Definitely would book again & recommend to others :)

  • Molly's apartment was a great location for our one week stay in Portland. Mississippi Street offers small shops, good food and drink. Discovered Bridgetown Beerhouse a nice pub/bar on Shaver Ave. We slept well in a comfortable bed. The use of a full kitchen worked well for us, but the high stools and a free standing kitchen unit were uncomfortable for dining.

About
Hi there! I'm in love with Portland, and I am sure you will be too after your visit! I love taking advantage of all the amazing food, music, art, and beeeer in the city. Most of all, though, I love that the city is enveloped by nature and rivers, lakes, hikes, waterfalls are easily accessible. I work for a non-profit environmental organization that keeps by busy and on the road, so I invite you to keep my place company while I am gone. I have a passion for exploration and travel and wish I had more time to cook and do yoga. I've worked in the hospitality industry and stay in hotels often, so I know what makes a guest comfortable and hope to offer that to you during your stay.
