My house is located in a quiet neighborhood and feels like you are in the country, while still in the city. Central Raleigh location provides easy access to all areas of town.
Some restaurants are within a mile but having your own transportation will give you more choices.
You have a private entrance at the far end of the carport. You can come and go as you like. Feel free to use the outside back yard seating area.
Interaction with Guests
I will respond to every message and inquiry. AIRBNB response rate percentage is set up that every message needs to be answered even if a response is not needed, otherwise the response rating goes down.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There are no through streets in Colewood Acres in this 2 street community. I have Well water which has been tested to be pure.
There is a bus at the end of our street that will take you to Downtown. Route 15 / WakeMed

Please no smoking inside the house. Feel free to relax outside on the patio or near the rock garden. Check out times will vary depending on availability but I am flexible if needing extra time. 1 space will be available for you under the carport where your private entrance is located.
Great place conveniently located to everything. Nice, clean, and spacious. Very quiet neighborhood. Big backyard for my dog to run around in, and a nice walking neighborhood. Brian was very nice and very easy to communicate with. He told me how to get into the house since he would be at work when I arrived. A++
Brian had everything set up for an easy, relaxing stay. His home is a very short drive to downtown Raleigh and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Brian was quick to respond whenever we had questions and was very accommodating with our dogs. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
The reservation was canceled 34 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Brian was great to work with - we had a last minute reservation and Brian's apt. was welcoming, cozy and very clean! The washer and dryer were great to use. The snacks were such a nice touch. We enjoyed the coziness and t.v. and selection of movies and enjoyed family time while visiting our Fireman Son. The location was convenient and we felt safe and comfortable! This apt. is a great value and a terrific place to stay instead of a hotel. We are pretty picky and would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while in Raleigh - to definitely stay here!
We had a wonderful time at Brian's and found it just as described, and a beautiful, comfortable basement apartment to ourselves. We were in Raleigh to visit friends - Brian was available immediately for any questions via messaging - but also provided us plenty of privacy for our visiting. Great snacks greeted us when we arrived. I had just noted that I used hot water to make my own coffee prior to arriving, and there was a "hot pot" there waiting for us. We felt very welcome, dog and all. Although Brian was in the house above us, he was very quiet and thoughtful about noise. Really, all amenities, good communication, nice place!
Great location, but you would need a car. Brian lives on maybe 3 acres of land which was nice for my dog who he let stay as well. Importantly, Brian is an excellent host. He has boardgames and amenities and no one staying would want for anything more. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Raleigh. My dog even messed something up and Brian was very nice and understanding about it.
We have stayed in Brian's home before and chose to stay again because of our experience. We weren't disappointed, communication was timely and friendly. Nice snacks and cold drinks were there to greet us
when we arrived.
The basement apartment is comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is pleasant, with a nice woodsy suburban feel, despite being only a few blocks from a busy shopping street. The property is well-maintained with some interesting landscaping and decorating touches.
I love nature and the outdoors! I am an amateur photographer, hiker, and outright adventure seeker. Some of my future goals are to do more traveling and seeing the world. I like to be on the go and live my life to the fullest. I have been employed as a hotel department manager so I try and use those skills to create a great experience.
