This cabin is in an idyllic setting nestled among the redwoods and off the beaten path. It is in an excellent location for exploring the north coast scenery or exceptional Russian River Valley wineries. The cabin itself was very clean and contained all of the conveniences we enjoy in the city from a stocked kitchen to wireless internet. It was a real pleasure to stay in this gem of a cabin and can't wait to return.
The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. Katrina was extremely helpful leading up to the trip and upon our arrival had the fire going for us to the house was warm. The house itself is cozy and perfect for 2 people. We cooked most of the time we were there and the kitchen had all of the essentials cooking equipment to make a great meal. It was a perfect place to spend the weekend and was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely come back and stay again.
This place was fantastic! It is perfect when you want a private getaway with a loved one or a little bit of solitude for yourself. Photographs are accurate and the place was pristinely clean. If you are looking for a place to stay and enjoy the bounty of the Russian river, this is the place to do it.
I'm not sure where to start!
This has to be one of the best Airbnb offerings in northern Cal. If not THEE BEST. If only every experience was this magical. We just got home from two nights in Cazadero and I think we're both in agreement that we could have easily made it a week. Or longer. I can't think of a better spot to celebrate my husbands birthday. Katrina and Larry have thought of EVERYTHING to ensure the coziest of experiences. From the tasteful mid-century modern decor, the state of the art kitchen, the wood burning stove, and the abundance of cozy blankets & pillows, to the best part, the gorgeous secluded surroundings! We were in heaven. And I realize when staying in a "cabin in the woods", most people don't need/want distractions like wifi and cable tv but I have to say how grateful we were to sip our red wine in front of a roaring fire while selecting movies to watch from Netflix. It was in a word, perfect.
Local highlights: takeout from Boon Eat & Drink and Betty Spaghetti, coffee & biscuits from Big Bottom Market, wine tasting at Porter-Bass winery, sunday brunch at Cape Fear cafe, and beach bumming at Goat Rock :)
This was a great stay. I really enjoyed the architecture of the cabin and Katrina was really helpful in coordinating checkin and answering questions I had.
This was, without question, the best AirBnB I've ever stayed at. We wanted a nice cottage, not too far away from town. It was private, beautiful, and perfect for us. We loved every minute there -- sleeping in, drinking local wine by the fire, and enjoying the sun breaking through the Redwoods. I will come back here again and again. I'm almost sad to leave such a good review, because others will discover how great it is.
Larry and I are down-to-earth folks who love cycling, boating and any kind of outdoor pursuit. Larry is an incredible home builder and we both love to create beautiful homes and spaces.
