This darling home close to Old Town and Balloon Festival Park often has last minute availability for Balloon Festival week! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, small kitchenette area.
This charming home has all the details and character of the original, 1950's homes along Rt. 66. Beautiful french doors, original wood floors. The home is located right off I-40 and is only a one block walk to Old Town.
The home is on gated land and there is a huge RV parking area.
All furniture, mattresses, bedding are brand new.
Great location for easy access to all of Albuquerque's attractions!
The kitchenette is small, but functional for reheating and small meals.

We loved the home! The location was fantastic for easily accessing the highway, and close to so many other wonderful places. The home was very nice and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only downside to this house was the lack of an oven in the small kitchenette, but honestly there are so many great restaurants nearby that we barely bother to cook anything. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!
We felt welcomed and Kathryn's assistant Landon was very helpful during the whole process. The description of the house was very accurate. The neighborhood was a touch shady but I don't know anything about ABQ so I probably would have felt a little uneasy wherever we stayed. There aren't any houses right next to it so it felt a touch vulnerable. Having the office tenant helped a lot! We were there for a wedding at Old Town Farm and the location was PERFECT!
Rachel you were a great guest! Thank you for staying with us. I'm working with the alarm people as we speak. It is always helpful having guests like you willing to call us with questions and suggestions to make a better customer experience. You are always welcome!
The Rose Ave home met our expectations and the description was accurate. Attempts to contact the host (address listed in Las Vegas, NV) about some shortcomings were less than satisfactory. For instance, asking where we could find clean garbage bags, we were told to purchase them.
The neighborhood is busy and noisy, but that was not a distraction (we all slept well). The location was perfect for our purposes.
Our stay at Rose Home was very lovely! Its conveniently located near the center of town with close freeway access. The home itself is very spacious with a historic feel. It was very welcoming and homey and accompanied our group of 7 very well. The owner Kathryn was very helpful and kind with getting us checked in and out easily. I would definitely recommend staying at Rose Home while in Albuquerque!
This was a wonderful house. We were attending a wedding near old town. There were 6 of us. The location was perfect, just a short walk to old town, and incredibly easy to get onto I-40. Plenty of sleeping space, large living and dining room. We had a fabulous time and never had an issue. House was clean and well looked after. Kathryn was always quick to respond to any questions. Would stay again. Thank you.
Kathryn was very supportive of our last minute reservation. The house is spacious and large with more than enough space for our two families. It had a very large master bedroom with attached 3/4 bath and king bed. It also had two large bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a large bunk bed and desk that shared the main full bath. The mini kitchenette is mini (sink, fridge, and small amount of dishes but reasonable). The living room was good size with a flat screen TV. It was also had a fold out table for a cooking area with hot plates, cooking implements, and utensils. There is also a large dining room with a very large table. The location is right next to I-40 and met our needs to visit family in town and still provide us some private space.
This was my first experience with an airbnb rental and it was, to say the very least, disappointing. To begin with, we were greeted by a kitchen pail holding a mop right next to a mouse trap. It got worse from there. The house was dirty, furniture broken, faucet coming loose, yard full of blowing trash, etc.. The "kitchen" was a hotplate in the TV room. The bathroom shower was about the size of a refrigerator and would be a challenge for anyone who is taller or bigger size to use. I'm not sure how a family with children would be able to survive this house.
The last insult was that, on our last day, the Needless to say the photos posted about the house told a very different story. Also, there was no Wi-Fi access, as promised, and the TV service was cancelled the morning of our last day, leaving us with the barest number of channels. The only thing that was any good was the location. It's a few blocks from Old Town.
If I could give this plane zero stars, I would have.
By the way, this is a consensus review of 3 individuals who have traveled extensively and have stayed in similar accommodations before.
Mary, it would have been helpful if you would have called me even once during your stay. You did not. I do apologize about the mop and the mouse trap. I would appreciate any information about broken furniture?
The home was cleaned just a day before you arrived.
The wifi and the satellite TV ARE working and were working for your whole stay.
I have no clue what you are talking about with --photo's?
I clearly state that the home has only a kitchenette and state exactly what appliances are there. There is a microwave and a refrigerator, a small kitchen sink, a coffee maker, and a small set of pots, pans and dishes. I have had many families there and they have been very happy.
The pictures of the showers are very clear online.
