A group of 6 friends and I had an amazing weekend at Fiona's beautiful and cozy farmhouse. The house is in a great location and perfectly serene. Fiona was a great host, especially when there was an issue with the water - she had a plumber out to the house in an hour! We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and very much recommend staying here.
The farmhouse was lovely, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really liked the beautiful huge garden and the great green views. Fiona was super nice and helpful!
Our week at the farmhouse was just perfect. My parents, two daughters (3 and 1), husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Fiona's house. The place was beautiful, loved the grounds, outside area, seeing the horses, and cooking up a storm with the veggies we picked from Fiona's garden. Fiona was extremely nice, communicating with me over email leading up to our visit, and then being available throughout the week to answer our questions and give us tips on what to do in the area. She also gave my 3-year old a horse riding lesson, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The farmhouse is located in a great area, close to wineries, hiking, farms, etc; there is so much to do you need more than a week to do it all. But we also really enjoyed just hanging out at the house, spending time outdoors, laying in the grass, and relaxing. This is a great place to visit with the family - our kids loved it and didn't want to leave! Oh and our dog was in heaven too - great place to bring your pet! Thank you Fiona - we will certainly be back!
Fiona was a great hostess. The farm house is adorable and the location is perfect. It is half way between Charlottesville and Culpeper. The winery we went to was minutes away.
The Farmhouse was a perfect getaway for a weekend in Shenandoah. It has plenty of charm and great outdoor space. Guests can use all of the amenities which are clean and well maintained. Fiona was very easy to work with, addressed all of our questions prior to arriving and bid us farewell on the last day. I would definitely return next year.
Fiona is a gracious host! Love this house and the scenery, especially the horses! Will be back as soon as possible!

About the Host, Fiona
I have travelled all over and know how I would love to just be "at home" when I arrive. No beds to make, no major unpacking of groceries - there is a shop nearby - and a cool drink on the terrace to relax and plan my tomorrows. Maybe a ride, maybe some golf, a hike by the water or take those water colors I see on the porch and get those creative juices flowing! Sometimes it is wonderful to look at the flower beds overflowing with every color - and know that you do not have to do the weeding! Come and enjoy, come and stay.
