This place is interesting (architecture is not usual), spacious, and beautiful. Fiona and her family put in a lot of work and living in this place. She is an exceptional host. This is my first airbnb actually, and I'll definitely stay there again and recommend it for large groups that are attending a graduation at UVA.

We stayed here with our family, which included multiple children under the age of 4. The kids had plenty of space to play both inside and out and really enjoyed looking out to the farm to see the horses and cows. We were provided more than enough towels and other basic household supplies like trash bags, papertowls, plates, etc. Was really a charming farmhouse and wonderful place to stay all around.

We had a great time spending Easter weekend at Fiona's. Plenty of room for 8 adults and one toddler. We especially enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the covered porch, and the outdoor dining space. The ponies saying hello over the fence were also appreciated!

We were looking for an out-of-the-way place for a large group of friends. This was perfect. Lots of space and beds. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill had two tanks of gas! Couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway here, with 4 adults and 4 children. It is in a beautiful location, in the middle of fields of horses. The beds were comfortable, the house was really spacious and Fiona was a very helpful host. The kids loved exploring the house and we loved looking at the stars from the comfort of the hot tub. It is in easy reach of Shenandoah and the Skyline Drive.

We spent New Years weekend with 8 people at Fiona's horse farm. It was the perfect distance from DC (just under 2 hours), very easy to find, but also completely secluded. The house had everything we needed to cook and a lovely hot tub out back.

I have travelled all over and know how I would love to just be "at home" when I arrive. No beds to make, no major unpacking of groceries - there is a shop nearby - and a cool drink on the terrace to relax and plan my tomorrows. Maybe a ride, maybe some golf, a hike by the water or take those water colors I see on the porch and get those creative juices flowing! Sometimes it is wonderful to look at the flower beds overflowing with every color - and know that you do not have to do the weeding! Come and enjoy, come and stay.
