  • We stayed at this place for 5 days. Comparing to price/quality it's pretty good. Extremely close to subway. As advantage - flexible check out

  • The apartment is in a great location, very convenient for the subway and a supermarket right across the street! Everything worked great and we had a really good stay. The shower is excellent. Owners were very good at getting back to us with information! Would definitely recommend bringing earplugs though as the heaters and street are quite loud!

  • Plus points of this apartment: the location near the metro, the price, the fine shower, the toaster. Less: 2 bedrooms had no door so little privacy, the noise of the heating. It is a very simple apartment on an excellent location. Good value for your money. The owners live on the first floor (apartment is on the second) but communication between us was by mail. That was no problem for us because there was a quick reaction on our questions. An excellent base to discover New York. We have enjoyed our stay very much.

  • The apartment was great! Half a block from a subway entrance, and we felt very safe. We stayed for three nights in January, and were cozy and comfortable. Some of us weren't used to the clicking noise the heaters made, but it didn't bother us after the first night, and if it had, earplugs are an easy fix. As it was, we all slept well and had a wonderful time. We found free parking on Maujer street around the block for both cars. Nora and Gonzalo were very accommodating to our early arrival, too.

  • We had a great stay at Gonzalo and Nora's apartment in Williamsburg. Gonzalo came by the first day we were there to greet us and share some things we should check out while we were in NYC, which was incredibly helpful. The apartment itself was very clean and close to a subway stop. It was a great place to stay and helped make our New York trip very enjoyable.

  • Location is great, transport is excellent, neighbourhood is interesting and feels safe. Hosts were helpful with everything.

The rooms are basic, clean and a little bit kooky (sloping floors!). Shower is excellent, cooking facilities a bit cramped.

You get a fair bit of Brooklyn noise at night, and the central heating clangs a bit, but its warm.

    Overall would definitely come back

It was really nice to spend here on our visit to NYC. The metro is a short walk from home and get to Manhattan is quick and easy. The neighborhood is quiet and there are many shops on Grand St to eat and go shopping.

I've never met Gonzalo & Nora but they always responded quickly and clearly to our messages, both to check in for check out.

The apartment is very spacious and has THREE bedrooms, two connected by a corridor with no doors.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is cozy.

The pictures reflect perfectly the apartment!
    Greetings from Italy.

  • The flat is simple but clean, conveniently located 15 minutes from Manhattan, 50 m from a subway entrance.

  • Great location - Clean and confortable - Very easy delivery of keys. We were five in our group (family age 19-72) and we had a great time. We knew about the traffic noise in two of the bedrooms and had earplugs and it worked fine.(we are not used to traffic noise coming from little Iceland) This is not a luxus apartment but I would not hesitate to come back. Best regards Hanna.

  • Good:

    - Very close to the metro station. It is right next to the house.
    - Apartment is centrally located(lots of shops and restaurants) and we were able find a parking spot right next to the apartment every day(in our 4 days of stay).
    - It is spacious with three bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. 6 of us were able to stay comfortably.
    - The entire move-in and move out process was smooth and gonzalo was very accommodative and friendly.

    Could have been better:
    - Only one of the bedrooms had an AC unit and the living room had a ceiling fan. The other two bedrooms did not have proper ventilation and it was very difficult at night for us without a fan.
    - A microwave unit in the kitchen would have helped.
