Lonna was lovely, and the house is just spectacular! Historically restored with lots of love and walkable to Montclair's Church St. We'll definitely consider this listing next time!
Another great visit with Lonna and family. This time we enjoyed the larger room with the private bath and would definitely request that room for our next stay.
As one reviewer noted, the exterior of the home is "a work in progress," but the interior is not. Both bedrooms are comfortable; the living areas are eclectic and welcoming; the kitchen is warm and friendly.
As an aside-on our first visit in November, we had such interesting discussions with the twins who were in the process of finalizing their college applications. What a delight it was for us to meet with them in April and learn the results!
Big fans of this gorgeous historic home just a few steps from downtown Montclair. Lonna was accommodating, communicable and knowledgable on good food and wine in the area. The room was clean and spacious- just as pictured and described. Homemade scones in the morning where quite nice too.
We were greeted with a huge smile at the front door of her beautiful home. We had a long drive before we arrived and felt so comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Walked a few blocks to some great streets filled with Montclair best restaurants. Gorgeous house and such a nice family. We will be back. Thanks so much!

About the Host, Lonna
Originally from Washington DC, I now live with my husband and children in Montclair NJ. Through the years, my long love affair with antique and vintage objects has led me to work with wonderful clients to furnish and restore their homes. Flea markets, estate sales and auctions are a passion of mine. It doesn't matter if I am buying or browsing, local or abroad, there are so many goodies to choose from. Recently, I decided to try my hand at being an urban farm girl and joined the agrarian movement with backyard chickens, specifically 6 beautiful hens. Fresh, delicious, sunshine yellow eggs ..PERFECT !!
