We love using airbnb and sharing our home with guests. We love the sense of community it brings. We rent two bedrooms in the house, so if you're staying in one, it is possible that there will be a guest in the other. We take the utmost care in screening all potential guests so that they have reviews, completed profiles, and multiple secure verifications. So you can feel safe and comfortable and so can we. We have had over 100 different folks stay with us and all have been cool, delightful people from all over the world!
We have two full bathrooms for all to share, a big living room, and big open kitchen. We love when guests make themselves at home and make use of the common spaces, but also ask they they be considerate of them as well and conscious of anyone else in the house.
I am not a fan of having lots of specific "rules" other than we ask guests to remember this is our home and be considerate & respectful of the space & use common sense. Just a couple things: please avoid eating in the bedroom and please dry yourself off in the tub before stepping out to avoid getting water on the floor.
From midnight to 8am, we're mutually respectful of anyone getting their rest after an exhausting work day or exploring NYC. But you're welcome to do your thing and come and go as you please at any hour.
That's about it. We look forward to meeting you!
Chris was a super Host :-) This place is just beautiful and clean. Just like what you need to feel good. Easy and fast located. Thank you Chris. I would choose your place always again. xo
I spent two weeks at Chris's place and LOVED it. The location is amazing and she is the best host, making you feel so welcome in her beautiful house, I truly felt at home. She's a really interesting person as well. I hope I get to stay at her place again :)
As my first Air BnB experience staying with Chris was fantastic! Even before I made the booking she was helpful and provided really useful info for a first timer. Her home truly is a tranquil oasis located in the vibrant heart of Williamsburg. My room was lovely, clean and calm. Chris had great suggestions for events and nightlife. Her restaurant was also a highlight and well worth visiting- great food and live music! I couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
I stayed 5 days at Chris' apartment. The room was really nice and big for a 1 person room. Chris was very helpful and nice, she made sure I'd feel at home in her apartment. The location is just perfect if you like Williamsburg, lots of cool bars and restaurants and easy to commute to Manhattan. The wifi worked really good in the full apartment! And I loved the blue bottle coffee every morning :)
I really enjoyed this place. Chris was friendly, she gave some good recommendations (in Williamsburg). Room is not big but that didn't bother. She arranged that I could pick up my bags after check out on my day of departure because of my flight in the evening. I can also recommend staying in Williamsburg; good neighbourhood with good restaurants. I also ate at Chris her restaurant, really worth paying a visit. I didn't saw Chris a lot because she is most of the time at het restaurant, but I didn't expect that because I'm busy with sightseeing New York. When I saw her; she always asked how I enjoyed my stay & New York which was very kind.
