Welcome to the Governors Mansion in Clarksdale Mississippi. This Epic, Grandiose, and Stately mansion is only the. beginning of your Delta Blues adventure. Perfectly situated on the outskirts of downtown, 6 blocks from the famous Ground Zero and 7 blocks from the even more famous Reds.

The space
Some people who come here even say they have tumbled back in time, but I do not think that is true. They have merely slipped sideways into a place they do not recognize, and may never understand.

Clarksdale Mississippi is truly a special place. My first trip was back in 2010 and it was instant love. Throughout the years ended up coming back 2 to 4 times a year (yes the Clarksdale vortex is REAL!) and almost on a whim and poorly thought out bet from a good friend I purchased this home. It was dilapidated and hadn't been lived in for over 12 years. The hard work began and almost a year later (may 2022) we opened the doors to what you will experience in this stunning home.
The space is epic and can sleep 18 comfortably. Grand foyer that leads into a parlor to the left and a sitting room to the right. A massive dinning room table that can comfortably sit 20 and a extremely large kitchen to accommodate the respective cooking arrangements for a large group (we even have a local catering option and you skip the cooking) As you look up before you start walking up the grand staircase you will see the stained glass windows. Upstairs you will find 6 bedrooms, 3 of them with built in full bathrooms, extremely large bedrooms all with large ceiling fans. A newly installed industrial grade HVAC system to keep you super happy. A total of 6 fireplaces (soon all to be upgraded to gas) and a large laundry area in the back with 2 washers and dryers. SONOS wireless speakers throughout the house and fully operational wifi. In the backyard there is a 50,000 gallon pool with a large gas grill and a outdoor dining table.

Other things to note
PLEASE NO PARTIES. The house is sandwiched in a upper scale part of Clarksdale but backs up too long term older residents on all sides. I know these people well and they are truly fantastic. The house is ideal for 3 or 4 families to spend a weekend together.
