Ten minutes to the Russian River or wine tasting and 20 minutes from the coast.
We are in the heart of the lower Russian River. Close to everything.
This was my first experience with Airbnb and it couldn't have gone better. Michael and Erin were wonderful hosts, and the Russian River Charmer was all that we wanted and more. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Guerneville or Monte Rio.
The unit was great, a one bedroom apt with a full kitchen and bathroom, as well as a little patio. MIchael and Erin stocked the kitchen with fresh fruit, cream, bottled water, coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. We also had our infant daughter with us, so they put out bath toys and a great big cuddly bear.
The unit was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The wifi was fast, which is nice because cell reception is spotty in this area. We were very happy with the experience.
The Russian River cottage was everything we expected --charming, quiet, clean and neat, even a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen counter. We arrived several hours late, so didn't get to meet Michael and Erin, who'd gone out for a meeting, immediately. But we knew they were there if we needed them. The cottage is part of a complex of several structures on the property, all of them unique works in progress. The one-bedroom cottage easily accommodates a couple. If children are along there is a small pullout sofa (in photo).

Michael and Erin were great hosts. They made sure we could get into the house at 4 am when we finally arrived, and the sofa bed for the other couple was already made up for us. Super cute and comfortable with all the essentials (even some half & half) provided! Absolutely recommend :)
