  • My good friend stayed here with her daughter. They had a blast. Gavin and Lucie were so warm and welcoming and the place was a dream, they said. They couldn't have wished for better.

  • Thank you Gavin & Lucie for the fantastic stay. The apartment was large, beautiful and in a great location. It feels lived in without actually being lived in. I will definitely be recommending your place to friends & family. No hesitation in giving you a 5 star rating! Thanks again, Josh.

  • Excellent apartment in terms of location and the apartment itself. Very good apartment for young families, our 6 and 2 year olds loved exploring and both claimed the children's room as their own! The apartment is much bigger than it looks in the photo's and does indeed receive plenty of natural light. The open fire in the lounge was also a notable feature. Gavin was very helpful and hospitable. Many thanks.

  • Gavin came to meet us to exchange keys. He was really nice and knowledgeable and very easy to get a hold of before and during our stay.

The place was fantastic. There was only two of us so we didn't need to use the spare bedrooms at all. It's in a really good location, was .9 miles from the train station, easy to walk to and close to the center of the city and to restaurants/bars. The place itself was very clean and really nice. There is a Sainsbury's just up the street. It has factual guides about Edinburgh and maps with suggestions of what to do in the area plus there was a nice touch of hot water bottles on the beds (it was Feb. when we went) which was amazing.

Tea, milk and a nice tray of cookies were provided for our stay. I would definitely stay here again. No problems with wifi, water was always nice and warm, flat was warm too and we built a fire for ambiance which was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • What an amazing home! The apartment is huge, clean, very comfortable, and welcoming. Not a single complaint.
The lady that welcomed us to the home was lovely and made us feel so at home. Gavin was great too. So helpful and easy to get in touch with.
The apartment in incredibly child friendly. Lots of toys, a high chair, blankets, kiddy spoons and bowls.
We'll definitely be back, and I can't wait!

  • A terrific apartment in a great location. We received lots of support before coming and a very warm welcome from Jan on arrival. I was travelling with my 9-month old daughter and I was really touched by the attention the team made to accommodate her – high chair, bowls, cutlery etc. The highlight was a fabulous selection of age appropriate toys (more than we have at home), which she reveled in making me feel that she too was having a great holiday.

  • This flat is not only in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, it is also a great space for singles, couples or even a small family! Gavin was fantastic with communication, making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again!

  • A star property. Very close to the centre of Edinburgh and within walking distance of the royal mile and princess street. The flat is spacious with large and comfortable double beds. The lounge again is large and the open fire a real treat on cold winter days.

Gavin and Lucie were very generous with their time and collected my daughter from the airport. It is very easy to recommend this property and Gavin and Lucie as hosts.

  • We really enjoyed a very comfortable and happy weekend stay in this lovely spacious apartment. I wish we could have stayed longer! The flat was lovely and warm and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was a pleasure to cook a meal and eat it in the grand dining room. Bathroom has been recently refurbished. Sitting room with open fire is also very inviting.
The location is superb and we could walk to everywhere we needed to go in Edinburgh either through the Grassmarket, Waverley Gardens or along Princes Street.
I enjoyed popping across the road to the Farmers market on Saturday and it is wonderful to look up and see Edinburgh Castle
Gavin was a most considerate host. The lifts to and from the airport were particularly appreciated and Gavin was full of ideas and advice to make sure we made the most of our time in Edinburgh. .
My son is a student in Edinburgh and I will definitely rebook the flat for our next visit.

  • Lovely time in Edinburgh, it´s awesome spent some days in this city. The house is in the city center close to the old town, five minutes walking to Royal Mille, is a comfortable place, clean and with all you can need. Thanks to Gavi for his kindness, he has been really friendly, helping us with everything since we arrived to the airport...In fact, we are going to meet to have a beer before back to Spain.
