This apartment is very centrally located in Beyoglu. It has a bedroom and a living room with a terrace upstairs overlooking the beautiful Istanbul and Golden horn views.
It is 400mt. to Istiklal Avenue and the Demiroren Shopping Mall. Taksim Square is a 5 minute walk and the metro and bus stops are there. You can also take the funicular connecting to the tram line going to the Old city in Taksim Square. If you walk downhill when you get out of your building, you come to Cukurcuma and Tophane districts which are full of things to see: antique dealers, design shops, cafes, art galeries, sights and sounds and smells from the streets…Continue downhill and eventually you’ll come to Tophane to see the great Kılıc Ali Pasa Mosque by Architect Sinan and right there is the tram line to Sultanahmet ( Old City) and Kabatas (for the ferries to the Asian side and the Prince Islands).

The appartment is very well located, near Istikal street but in a quiet street. We were 2 couples travelling and there was enough space for 4 people and we were not that much in the place ! As we were there in winter we didn't enjoy the terrace but it has indeed a beautiful view !
The stay at this apartment was really great. It has a lovely view from both the apartment and the rooftop terrace, which during the warm sunny days made for a really sweet spot to hangout for breakfast or after a day of walking everywhere. The location was perfect for us, we walked everywhere we wanted to go and there are tons of restaurants, shops and cafés close by.
"Flats in Istanbul" who rented this apartment to us, booked transfer to and from the airport and welcomed us with a tour of the apartment and maps for where to go. They were very friendly and even though we had quite uncomfortable travel times (going home), they were there at 6 am to check us out and make sure the driver came to pick us up.
The real hero of our experience in Istanbul was Dilara, the Operations Manager for this place! She scheduled our rides to and from the airport, secured our bags when we arrived early, addressed our concerns expeditiously, and ensured our safety when answering random phone calls from phones we'd borrowed throughout the city to make sure we were getting back correctly!
The place itself was great - the shower was warm, the sheets and towels were clean, the internet worked great, the view was mesmerizing, the location simply CAN NOT BE BEAT. I 100% recommend this place to all!
A wonderful apartment, in a great location, with the most incredible view over Istanbul. Soner's team went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. When we arrived, the batteries for the air con remote had died, so Mustafa very kindly sped out to get fresh batteries and also brought back bottled water for us at no extra cost. The building's elevator did occasionally break down, which meant a steep four storey climb, but there's not much to be done about that.
Great location, with iskitkal caddesi right around the corner, and tophane station just a quick walk down the hill. Would recommend!
Tatty flat in a seedy area Alas, we did not enjoy our stay in this apartment; and I should, after I had read the last negative report, have cancelled my booking and stayed elsewhere. First, the good aspect. Although we never met Soner, whenever we called his office the response was immediate: to let us in when we arrived, to sort the plumbing (an air block?) at 11 pm, and to supply another set of towels. We had before coming asked for the windows and curtains to be cleaned and this was done, although the curtains were not put up until the morning after we arrived. We were told that the air conditioner had also been changed. The flat is sold on the view, which is seen from a not easily accessed small terrace on the roof and from one of the long sides of the bedroom and living room/kitchen, which consists of windows. These and the roof – it is a mansard flat – make the accommodation too hot, even at night in a relatively mild September. It is only bearable with the air conditioner on, leading to either an arctic living room or a hot bedroom. The photographs reflect the state of the flat: the venetian blinds in the living room cannot be adjusted and a piece of cardboard has been inserted behind the upper right part to keep out the light. To the left of the fridge wallpaper imitating brickwork on another piece of cardboard covers I don’t know what in the wall. The fridge handle is broken off and lies on top of the fridge [not in the Airbnb photos]. Tape covers the overflow hole in the bath. The bathroom is poorly lit. The varnish on the floor and the paint on top of the dining chairs have worn away. The curtains make it difficult to open the windows; and the curtains themselves and their supports come away easily. One of the supports for the radiator in the bedroom is hanging out of the wall. The coat hangers are the cheapest and least adequate ones supplied with purchased clothes; some are broken. The road is poorly lit, but as a cul de sac traffic free – the top end is blocked by the police station car park. So, no need to feel insecure here. There are at least two discos in an adjoining street and for a couple of nights these kept my wife awake until 4 a.m. The flat is expensive for its condition and the district. Including Airbnb’s commission we paid almost €100 a night. For that price we could have stayed in the Faik Pasha boutique hotel, which is further downhill from this apartment in a nicer, more chic area, where we would have had a better room, breakfast, bed made and room cleaned daily, daily change of towels and a 24-hour manned entrance to provide information about where and how to get about Istanbul. I wish we had. This is my first...

I am renting apartments in Beyoglu since 1995, my good reputation is now famous. In fact, my business is the first provider of serviced apartments in Beyoglu and now the sector thrives! The best gift is a revisiting guest and we have so many of them.
