My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Lisa's beautiful home. Lisa was very welcoming and the room was nice and quiet. The bed was also very comfortable. Lisa provided little touches that helped to make the stay even more pleasant--like delicious coffee and scones!
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Ann Arbor, thanks to Lisa. On the front end, she communicated clearly and immediately to every question we had, so that it was very easy for us to know exactly how to manage our arrival, and during our stay she was warm and hospitable in a non-intrusive way. Her house is very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the University.
Lisa was very welcoming. I arrived very late in the evening, but she was still available and showed me around. She also emphasized that it's important to her to know that her guests have everything they need.
Lisa was a great host. Her house was very beautiful and cozy. It is also at a very convenient location, 3 minute drive to campus.
My husband and I felt very welcome in Lisa's home. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The bed was great!
We enjoyed the delicious homemade granola for breakfast. Eberwhite Woods, which is adjacent to her property, provided a peaceful place to walk.
Lisa was very gracious and attentive and we found the room exactly as described. The "goodie" bag was a nice touch. Also, the location is great and a beautiful 15 minute walk to downtown. I hope to see you again next time I visit Ann Arbor, Lisa. Thanks for everything!
Lisa was very welcoming and is was very easy getting situated in the room. The house and neighborhood are beautiful - on not too cold days it is an easy (and pretty) walk to UM. Additionally, Lisa's homemade granola is delicious!

About the Host, Lisa
I have lived in Ann Arbor for the last 30 years, and love my town. I have a beautiful, historic house on the old west side, a 20 minute stroll to downtown and to Michigan Stadium. I am a 5 minute walk to the Ann Arbor city bus stop. My rooms are cozy, private and very comfortable. I am LGBT friendly and want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I offer coffee, tea and homemade granola with fruit and yogurt for your breakfast. My home vibe is casual, friendly and easy-going. I currently have two rooms available. Both have their own private bathroom, with bathtub and shower. There is free wifi and laundry, a lovely backyard with table and chairs, a hammock and a gas grill . I also have bicycles you can use. Eberwhite woods is right next door, which is a nice place for a walk. In the cool weather, I always have a fire going in the living room, which you will have full access to. You can also have access to a fridge for your food, and if you want to cook up something, that's fine too. I work as a school social worker in the county juvenile jail. I study and practice Nonviolent Communication, and I run a non profit organization called Selma Cafe that supports local food initiatives and sustainable agriculture. I teach yoga, and I love to knit, garden, cook, kayak, swim, and in the winter, cross country ski. I speak a little Spanish, I love to travel, and I enjoy hosting guests in my home. I look forward to connecting with you.
